EVAC is a new recruit to the AUTOBOT team stationed on Earth and has never been in combat with DECEPTICONS before -- a bond he shares with the latest human recruits of NEST, right here at Universal Studios Singapore.
Created specially for this ride, EVAC is a Stealth Transport Bot, who is as agile and fast as they come. Built to handle rough combat situations, EVAC is eager to prove himself in battle. His specialty is transporting high‐level personnel and classified materials at hyper speeds.
The world's first TRANSFORMERS ride will open at Universal Studios Singapore on 3 December 2011.

Sometimes, space is limited in these amusement parks. So in order to create more new rides, they get rid of older rides. most of the time a old ride is torn down & a newer ride gets built in it's location. depending on the budget, they might keep some stuff from the older ride & intergrate it into the newer ride.
Yeah, but it looks like only modern stuff for sale. Too bad they can't make it like BotCon and have various vendors take turns selling vintage products there.kirbenvost wrote:DUDE, look at that gift shop! It's like a dream come true!

By my standards, this isn't a ride. it's waiting in line a hour+. then you go into a movie theathre, sit down & have your movie theathre seat rock back & forth while you watch a 3-D Movie.
I've personally had a few bad experiences in various amusement parks in america. going to these amusement parks movie theathre 3-D Movie rides where the seat rocks back & forth. The only reasons we went on these movie theathre rides where the theathre seats rock back & forth rides is because my older cousin took us to the amusement park & he paid for everything. my older cousin is a star trek fan & also loves the broadway type live shows.
While your waiting in line in the 90 degrees plus summer weather, getting sun burned & sweating like a pig. the line progresses, you get to see walls painted or designed in the theme of the movie.
IMHO,This isn't a ride in a amusement park. by my standards,a ride in a amusement park is a ROLLERCOASTER ride. I wouldn't even label this as a kids ride,as their is zero danger of getting hurt & zero danger of getting nauseous or throwing up on the ride or after the ride is over.
These types of movie theathre rides where the theathre seats rocks back & forth are aimed at younger kids who are not older enough nor tall enough to ride the roller coasters.

TRANSFORMERS The Ride enlisted the award-winning Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), a division of Lucasfilm Ltd., which created the visual effects for the movie franchise, to produce ground-breaking visionary special effects and 3-D images exclusively for the ride.
ILM has worked on nearly 300 feature films since its formation in 1975, including the TRANSFORMERS movies, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park as well as all four of the Indiana Jones films and all six of the Star Wars episodes.
ILM Singapore started in 2006 and has worked as a integrated unit with ILM San Francisco on such projects as the TRANSFORMERS franchise, Star Trek, Terminator: Salvation, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
We found out more about the attraction from Jeff White, visual effects supervisor at ILM.
It wasn't. That's new footage created specifically for the ride. The ride is going to have its own story with its own footage.Wreckage42 wrote:Ok so i've got one question... Megatron... WHERE THE HELL WAS ALL THAT IN TF3!?!??!?!?!?!

Notice that Megs is in his ROTF body. If this is gonna take place int he movie timeline, it'll likely take place between movies 2 and 3.
On closer examination, you're right. The "claw" on his right arm threw me off. (Why does he even have that claw?)#Sideways# wrote:Sabrblade wrote:It wasn't. Actually, I saw chains on him. Only meaning that this is him in his DOTM body.
