True ... he was probably the best looking of the combiners. The only way to top it would be to increase the articulation.

I think they call that one Steve Maximus or something.Burn wrote:nah, they're colours were what made them. That? That's just a black and purple Decepticon.
Kids these days call them Steve.![]()

Just gonna wait for hasbro to nut up and start giving the good decos to their tf's, TT knows what's going on (black convoy/nemesis prime forever)

Such a colour scheme will get old very very quickly.
It also reeks of laziness.

munkimus prime wrote:A Classics Barricade would be pretty cool though he could be a new character in RID. Not sure who Backtrack is and a new Classics Wheelie could be cool, While Brawn would be awesome since the old classics toy isn't quite as cool as it used to be

My guess is that "Backtrack" is a new trademark for "Outback," which can't be trademarked anymore (for easily understandable reasons). The name is similar enough, and his G1 mold sire Brawn has been renewed for trademark as well, so make of that what you will.

"Backtrack" was the name of an Armada Mini-Con and an unreleased Movie toy.

Combiner Wars/Generations updates to the classic characters
The Reality:
RiD easy-to-transform garbage that doesn't even get released anyways
An actual Generations bad-cop Barricade would be pretty neat, especially with CW Brawl around the corner. Maybe then we could get Blackout, Bonecrusher, and Frenzy...
1. Bonecrusher is one of the Constructicons.
2. Frenzy and Rumble have mixed up their colors so many times that any toy of one (maybe except the movie Frenzy) could be repurposed as the other. So that means that with the rumoured TW Rumble, you have Frenzy.

I think he was referring to the Decepticon team from the first live action movie. Though the movie itself calls brawl 'devestator' (as bay liked that name better).
Anyways...
Some interesting things here, always happy to see the Terrorcons get more love, and I think people would be disappointed if Predaking was anything less than titan class

You guys have to calm down a bit. Trademarks arent filed at the tail end of the production cycle so I am not sure we would be getting these so soon.

I know. We have Megatron, Starscream, Bonecrusher, Brawl, and (rumoured) Barricade and Frenzy. All we need is Blackout.
Once again, I must ask, why? Is his size different to commemorate him being the 1st figure? If they had done 6 deluxe figures instead of 6 voyagers, he would have scaled better with the other CW combiners. He still would have been larger, but it wouldn't have been so bad. Maybe 6 deluxes couldn't work design-wise. Who knows. We got what we got, and I think just about everyone is happy with him.steals_your_goats wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Why? It would be easy to do with them what they did with Devastator, which is basically make oversized versions of the G1 figures.steals_your_goats wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I couldn't care less about the others, but a Titan Class Predaking would be so much awesome.
Also, it wasn't on the list, but a Titan Class Piranacon would also be on top of my list.
Trust me I love Seacons as much as the next guy but I don't know if titan class would be right for them.
I know it would be easy but it wouldn't really fit. Devastator was the first combiner so him being giant kinda makes sense
According to who, or what? Are you going by the scale of the G1 toys? Or a certain continuity in fiction?and if they do titan Predaking that too would make sense because he was the largest combiner.
I don't think they will either, but if they did, I think 5 deluxes and 1 voyager would be the way to go, because even though 5 members make up the gestalt, the limbs and the weapon are interchangeable, IIRC. I haven't owned this figure in a long time. I would love to see an update, though. If they did do a titan Piranhacon I wouldn't think twice about buying it, I just don't think realistically they Will.
