Well, it's stylistically designed to be that way, and you can't undo that, but we can diminish the effects of it
I blame that **** powerglide! He made me waste a perfectly good empty bottle of booze.
Wonder if he ever did that to Trailbreaker?
I blame the bagpipes
Bagpipes are the devil, never mess with them!

I knew of all three, but, having never read any of the comics, and them having no character to me, I'll stick to asking forat least they look cool, so it doesn't matter if they have no character

You should be getting as many decepticons if the rumours a re true. Its higher on this thread but it seems to be 3 of each and I remember Horribull and Skullcruncher. In hosrt, if D-Max prove to be pleased, you are just as likely to get what you want as well

It'd be cool, I guess, I'm interested in skullcruncher (dat name tho) but, I just can't seem to get excited about them

Actually, I thought the Constructicons all had the same character, till I visited the RPG forums on Seibertron.com. The RPG has actually helped me imagine these beloved characters with more personality, and is actually making me more exited about UW Devastator. Every character has personality in RPG, so that's where I go to see how to make my characters act. If the characters don't have personality in the actual fiction, then the fans will come up with some personalities for them. Just a thought.

I can understand a reluctance to try and produce the main cast, as many would be an extreme pain to create to be as 'realistic' or show accurate as possible (Tarantualas, and Black Arachnia spring to mind. Airazor, and especially Terrorsaur woudl be very difficult to cram a whole bot into his beast mode), but yeah, show some love to BW and move on to something else, then circle back after a while.
Yeah, very few Transmetals need any modern toy (some of those TMs were even on par with or better than today's toys).Shuttershock wrote:Hellscream9999 wrote:william-james88 wrote:Hellscream9999 wrote: they could be focusing on what the name implies, pull their head out of G1's a$$, and update various figures that had character that people also loved (u.tril. hot shot, crumplezone/ransack, x-brawn, etc.)

What's kind of funny is that after season 1, they were all pretty toy-accurate models.

I don't mind's, but everything in moderation - which these two lines have clearly blown away
- it's just that I step back and see all these figures from G1 getting updated, from a time when hasbro was just sneezing out toys, and not incorporating them into any fiction that I could get into on my own, instead of having to hunt them down on a wiki, when they could be focusing on what the name implies, pull their head out of G1's a$$, and update various figures that had character that people also loved (u.tril. hot shot, crumplezone/ransack, x-brawn, etc.)
Not really. Those original molds are so good that any new ones would pale in comparison.SillySpringer wrote:We need updates of the 2001 RID Optimus Prime, X-Brawn, and Sideburn.

I honestly wouldn't mind if they did one or two platinum sets next year of the Transmetals (preferably without chrome since they still can't seem to find a good solution to keep it from flaking) so America can finally have a TM Megatron that doesn't break and just to give them a re-release like they did for the season one guys for the 10th anniversary. Also they could maybe squeeze Ravage into one of them (that would also even them out, having 4 Maximals and 4 Predacons).
