But Topspin isn't a tank, let alone a ground vehicle.Kurona wrote:That's a point, I didn't think about whether Top Spin might be a remold... I don't know who they could retool him from tho. If he is, my best guess is a scourge-highbrow level retool of Hardhead.

The Jumpstarter. This is a G1-centric line and no-one really knows the other two - one of them's even pretty much the same guy just in a different timeline.
FOC Topspin was an attempt to homage G1 Topspin with non-Topspin-looking mold, while the Classics Topspin toy was just a name reuse for an unrelated Club character.EmirateXaaron wrote:I think it's interesting that Topspin is rumored to be getting a new figure. Huh? First time I've heard Scourge being retooled into Highbrow. Checking the Wiki... and I'll be damned. Still, with the amount of parts in common being minimal, it's more of a case of part sharing, like Blurr does with Chromedome.

No love for DotM Topspin?

He was asking about just G1, FOC, and the Club versions, so I simply answered about those three.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:FOC Topspin was an attempt to homage G1 Topspin with non-Topspin-looking mold, while the Classics Topspin toy was just a name reuse for an unrelated Club character.EmirateXaaron wrote:I think it's interesting that Topspin is rumored to be getting a new figure. Which one? Red cherry punch, blue raspberry or green apple?

I HATE when they do that.
So, were you able to find them during your hunt? Or are you getting them now that they are online?

Emerje wrote:I feel like Hasbro is just going to pull a cop-out and repaint Highbrow for Topspin just because the mold has propellers that, well, spin on top.
But I think ideally they'd modify the Brainstorm mold with a new forked front and wings.

I really think there's a good chance he'll get a new mold. Although he isn't even rumored yet, they could easily retool him into Twintwist. Boom you got your two mold uses.
