They will be released later (a month from now) by a partner retailer. Could be TRU, Walmart, Target, BBTS, anyone. So you have to wait a month or so. This website will inform you guys when we know more.

Preliminary Alt Mode Design for the New Titans Return Grotusque

Artist Ken Christiansen posted on Facebook what he calls "the first pass take on the new Grotusque figure". This is when Hasbro commissions an artist to draw what the toy would look like, even before any transformation sequence is thought up (which is a later phase). You can compare it to the final product to see what aspects of the designs stayed and which were altered as the design process continued.

Im so lucky I got mine. I was browising the net for 2 minutes on the way to work. I ended up being 30 mins late to work so I can stop and order one. Smart phones are a wonderful thing.

If you are serious about trying, BBTS had Arms Microns on clearence for a pittance. Throw one in a POL and practice on. Paints can be gotten from Walmarts or Meijers for $0.47-$1 and cheap but decent brushes arent either.

Damn, that looks pretty good. It's also reminding me of my unfortunate last session in the airbrush booth with my Skydive to Starscream conversion. (Nothing irreversible, but note to self and any fellow customizers: Invest in actual airbrush paint rather than trying to thin down Citadel.)

Anyway, GROTUSQUE WOOOOOOO. I've always wanted Grotusque to get an update, out of all the Monsterbots he gets the least love, which is a shame when he's a goddamn giant winged naked mole rat monster. I want him, but I can't get him right now. Oh well, some day.

I can confirm that the Clone sets was available at an EB games stores nearby in Montreal. I called a few of them and not all had them in stock. The one where I purchased my set had only received three and there was no indication of restock any time soon. I was happy to get them...until I remembered I had already preordered the Takara version of the twins somewhere :oops: ... Anyway, this set costed me 34,48$ with taxes.

Transformers Titans Return Grotusque Already Arriving, Two Days After Reveal and Release

We're receiving several reports from Seibertronians about the recently revealed and limitedly available Transformers Titans Return Grotusque figure - as shown during NYCC 2017 and shortly after running out of stock at Hasbro for this run - already arriving for those who were able to order it, only two days after the order was placed!

I'm rather surprised TRU still has Arcee available for pre-order. That's promising for Grotusque if he does turn out to be a TRU exclusive (TFWiki says he is, but I don't know where they got that info from). But then again this is our first Grotusque since the original while we have options for Arcee and there are likely those that prefer the Generations version or aren't willing to buy her a second time.

Grotusque has consistently been at the top of my G1 remake list. I have an original that's in rough shape I've had since I was a kid and have always wanted to see a modern figure of him. My one complaint is it seems like they weren't able to incorporate his (mistransformed yet cool) four legged winged cat mode into the figure, but at least they were able to make a fantastic looking upright mode. He's one figure that I will happily pay double for on eBay if I can't get one from the retailer.
