I think that's pretty cool. If we don't get info before then it'll mean most of Wave 4 gets to be a surprise, leaks notwithstanding. Just like when that RiD Starscream was found at TRU.

Wave 3 *just* started popping up in some remote areas a couple of days ago, and will not likely be available in mass market until after the holiday. Like I stated above, I literally just saw Wolfwire & Highbrow in store yesterday, thus completing my sightings of all TR Wave 2 in store except Soundwave. I think the NY Toy Fair will probably be quite adequate for revealing new product.

Thanks for the replies though, gives me something to look forward to in 2017 besides Trypticon

Wave 4 and maybe 5. Wave 6 and Power of the Primes stuff are definitely waiting until SDCC.

No, it would be adequate if "Supposed" was replaced with "IS". BUT since it's not and marketing is as important for Hasbro as preparation and anticipation is for kids, fans and collectors. I'd like to know if there's more to wave 4 than just Brawn (Legends), Perceptor (Deluxe) and Broadside (Voyager) and Sky Shadow (Leader).

These waves are releasing earlier than anticipated in many areas but we were still aware of what was coming. So is it Retails fault for releasing what was given to them or Hasbro for giving it to them early in the first place?

I thought the whole point of them releasing early was to make room for Bay's crap.

We know there's more to Wave 4 than that. We don't really need reveals to make the assumption that this wave will be as big as the rest.

I'm actually sort of glad we haven't got the rest of the reveals yet for wave 4. Wave 3 is hitting, I have yet to see and get wave 2 deluxes, and considering the last year or so was giving us reveals of figures almost 8 to 9 months in advance, I'm ok to wait it out a bit

That isn't until the end of July though...

Waves for the most part are released quarterly. (with some exceptions)

We know Octane, Blitzwing, Sky Shadow, Overlord and Trypticon are coming. I'd just like to know when for some of these and what else since waves 4 and 5 will likely release before SDCC's date and Hasbro's new convention isn't until Sept. So there's a big gap between NY Toyfair (Which could just be a model for Bayformers 5 figures mostly for all we know) and SDCC17 So I'm hoping there's another way of getting news for Generation stuff.

God, we're talking about Toy reveals/releases here, not movie trailers!

Your location is listed as West PA which normally gets waves in at retail weeks before we do here in Philly yet I've seen Wave 2 Deluxes in stores as early as September and have all of what I need from Wave 2 with Wave 3 shipping and showing up at retail any day now. So I'm speaking to and for those who come to this particular section for actual reveals and release dates (Per the forum title). I like to put money aside for TF figures, Comics, Movie tickets, Blu-rays, video games, Jordan's, Oil changes, etc.

Slow pokes waiting till Xmas to get Wave 2 figures under their tree and poor distribution in certain area's are not my problem. Wave 4 will likely have an April 2017 release but judging how things are moving we'll likely start seeing it as early as February 2017 so to the powers that be, if you have legit info on Wave 4 feel free to release it. To those who don't wanna see that info, avoid this section.

Octane is to TR Voyager OP as Blitzwing is to Megatron as Sky Shadow is to Overlord just as Sentinel IS to Astrotrain.

OP, Sentinel Prime, Megatron and Sky Shadow were strategically released first for molds for characters who are obvious.

So Hasbro would have to be some real Troll/Jackassess/morons not to release those particular characters.

We don't have any information on wave 4 besides what we've newsed and placed here.

I'm really surprised my stores here are still holding wave 1 stuff.

And my point going with this, going back to CW for a minute, was that we had a full Bruticus reveal in June and he was officially released in January. Sky Reign was revealed in like September, came out in February. and then After it came out, we had to wait 5 months before Titans return stuff came out. My thing was I am glad that there is a shorter time span between reveal and release. And we are probably looking at a long wait between waves considering the trend of this wave coming out so early and the next one not even being full revealed.

Overlord was shown at Botcon in blacked out form (you can tell the wings are a different shape from the pre-paint

there is no assumption to be made for blitzwing and octane. Read my post above, they were officially listed with product numbers in the retail inventory. There is solid proof they are coming out.

That isnt the case for frenzy or eject, those would still be assumptions.

sorry, point was misunderstood. -What I meant was I am not debating your source. You pointed to where the figures are confirmed. But in "General" terms, just looking at a figure, and assuming there will be a repaint/remaold based on appearances isn't an exact science, is what I'm getting at.
