Thank you, though we already have a review for TR Windblade up
It's probably a side effect of his body's robot mode being IDW-based, so people attribute the head to that inspiration as well, even if the head doesn't bear the same resemblance that the body does.Kurona wrote:I don't really get people saying Kup's headsculpt is IDW-inspired

Some people suggested Ramjet, the name of his Mini-Con partner from Armada, and that works. I don't think I saw anyone suggest Flattop (the grey-and-purple Micromaster jet with a gray-and-purple aircraft carrier that turned into a jet for him), though, but I think that would also work. Altermately, you could treat Tidal Wave himself as an upsized Flattop (in the same vein as Universe Countdown, Dropshot, etc) - the color scheme sure fits.
I doubt that Tidal Wave's Titan Master has a distinct name at all. None of the Titan Masters that came with the Chaos on Velocitron set had their own names (except for Titan Master Rodimus Prime, of course). The bodies and heads were just treated as singular entities, more like the Japanese G1 concept of Headmasters with Transtector bodies. In other words, Quickswitch, "Laser Prime," and Nautica were the only names we got for those figures. It's not like the regular retail line where we have pairings with two distinct names, like Revolver and Six Shot, Diac and Optimus Prime, or Hyperfire with Blurr. I expect the Siege on Cybertron box set to be no different in this regard.
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:First.. Is that the tank mode? Because no, the legs don't tab together for that one. You have to fiddle with the thighs to get them at the same angle.
Something I'm glad Titans Return didn't give us: An Armada Optimus Prime further-retool of PMOP to go with the daft Armada Megatron from Combiner Wars.
mordhelm wrote:You know, with these and the TT Legends releases, you know what I really want to go with some of these characters? I want a Titans Return Targetmaster Boxset. Just contains all the Targetmasters for the TR Deluxes that should have them (plus Scoop since he had the Generations release).
Looks like that would be 6 Decepticon Targetmasters, and 5 Autobots.
Hot Rod, Blurr, Kup get 1 each, and Scoop gets 2.
Scourge, Misfire, Slugslinger, and Triggerhappy get 1, and Quake gets 2.
As far as size, can someone compare how they relate to the Titan Master class? Bigger, smaller, about the same?
SureShot18 wrote:Preceptor is a little boring as a new mold compared to the other two. But he looks perfect in bot mode and his altmodes are what you'd expect from a G1 Perceptor.

Did you get it? You'll probably never see one again if you didn't.

Well, they just came out here in Manila
Since I live in the same country as him if I see he has a review of a certain fig (barring a few exceptions) it means it's out in the PH, and I can start hunting it
