I gotta say that I'm really liking that Scourge, even with the Headmaster gimmick. Although I really wish they had made a Combiner Wars limb out of the guy.
Also really hoping they'll make a new mould Squeezeplay. He's one of the very few Headmasters I had as a kid.

I can't wait to see more on Chromedome, and hope it'll bring a feeling of relief for not forking over a hundred bucks for the TFSS version.

Guess I know now why Scourge wasn't optioned to be Galvatronus limbs. Sadly it doesn't look much better than that Titanium version. Oh well so much for troop building more Sweeps. (Got like 5 Generations Scourges anyway)
I do like Mindwipe and A3 looks good as well. Chromedome is a wait and see.

These are all looking like Deluxe to me, so I'm hoping we get a look at Voyager Astrotrain since that's clearly what that Sentinel Prime mold was initially made for.

That's a really bad picture to use to say that Scourge's alt mode is accurate. It looks like there's some kind of flap or canard on that front edge, I can't tell if that closes or not. If this does turn out to be close to his movie appearance, I'll buy 10 as troop builders, if not, pass (again)

Actually I thought that was much worse than the original G1 figure. The proportions aren't good and the head is awful in size and sculpt. The Generations figure is the best so far in having a good bot mode (head sculpt is much better) but I so dislike the wings and the alt-mode strays too far from the original for my liking (hate the shoulders too).

I agree with your take on the titanium, but other than the articulation and head sculpt, the generations mold does little for me. Seeing as it's the 30th anniversary of the movie, I'd love to see a screen accurate Scourge without going 3rd party, but I'm apprehensive from that fuzzy 3/4 image. I think you could make armada sideswipe look cool under those conditions

While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

IDW Chromedome sure would be a godsend for me, but you gotta take it with a grain of salt. The head looks promising, but I feel it may be given the Generations Whirl treatment of just slapping the IDW head on the G1 styled body and calling it good.
I wouldn't mind it having any form of the character that won't break my bank account, but I would prefer a more comic-accurate take.
