Yeah, I find that label a little strange since the leaders don't even have two vehicle mods.
And the only leader figure I've seen for months is Skywarp, the others sold out before Christmas. And by others I mean the two Megatrons and that one Ultra Magnus I saw five or six months ago. Never did see Starscream or Thundercracker and before that I never saw a Jetfire until I bought one online.

Blaster -- Pass
PW Prime -- Maybe, but I would prefer Takara change it up to be more like a Godmaster and make a GodBomber.

Powermaster Prime is fa-a-a-bulous!
Is it just me or does he look like a retool of CW Ultra Magnus?
I might pass on Blaster though, but how the hell does he get longer smokestacks (?) than Prime?

EDIT: Nevermind, they aren't smokestacks but still, you'd think they'd lower them?

That's because he is...
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

While the jury is still out on their ability to change the gimmick I wouldn't hold my breath and godbomber is rumoured to be coming...from hasbro, stated to be a deluxe that can combine with pm op.

Really wish Hasbro would get their heads out of their @sses and produce some Decepticon characters worthy of the Leader class line.
Where is Sixshot and Overlord or and IDW based Scorponok that isn't a Botcon ripoff? Yeah, yeah...I'm aware there might be plans for a Titan class figure but there's still a lot people who would buy Leader class versions of Ft Maxx, Scorponok and Overlord in an instant!
I understand the PM Prime retool (I just don't like it) but oversized crappy designs like Blaster and Soundwave are a waste for this line IMO.
Sixshot was rumored by the Transmissions Podcast.
This one, I think.

The same place as everything else: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transform ... umors.html
But none of this has actually been seen. Its just that a catalogue of potential Hasbro products had the name god bomber with a pic of his g1 toy. It might never happen.

First off, newcomer here. Hi.
Second, opinion on Titan's Return- The line looks awesome. I prefer to base my wants when I get the toy in my hands though. That being said... I was too lazy to read back, but am I the only one that feels the heads on the Deluxe feel too big?

As far as I can recall, yes. But that wouldn't be uncharacteristic for Headmasters.

Well, for some it looks cool. People like Blurr or Scourge, it feels strange. Not a deal breaker...

That's because PM Optimus Prime is a retool of CW Ultra Magnus. That has been confirmed to be a fact for months now. I will say, I am also really looking forward to Titans Return! Every single figure revealed so far looks great to me! Hasbro better be happy that I like the Headmaster gimmick, city/Fortress/base alternate modes, the Super-God Masterforce Anime, and Blaster and Soundwave along with their cassette minions.

Presumably at the same time the last two Titan Class figures have been released: fall, with a special San Diego Comic Con exclusive edition coming out in July ahead of the wide release.

Is anyone else in the situation where they really like the concept of the Titans Master class... but not exactly the execution?
Like, I really love the idea of a smaller than legends size class that I can pick up if I'm low on cash, the set being fun on it's own but also adding more playability to whatever TR figure I might already have. An extra head and a targetmaster vehicle thingy is pretty awesome.
Buuuut... I don't exactly like which characters they chose for it - specifically, the 1988 smaller headmasters. This is because aside from Nightbeat getting a few redecoes (both of which... aren't the greatest molds in the world; though I am kinda happy with the Thrilling 30 Nightbeat), these guys have never had full toys since their originals before, so seeing them like this only makes me yearn for full toys of them and makes me think that's just not gonna happen. I would have liked it better if they had done them of guys that already get a lot of toys, or heck, even just have one or two good toys already - Bumblebee, Starscream, Prowl; all that jazz. That way I wouldn't feel disappointed that I'm only getting a head of them when they already have proper toys. Plus, it'd give some star power to get kids to buy 'em too. Wouldn't mind seeing the Headmaster and Bulkhead from Animated take advantage of this as well.
I dunno, guess I'm just salty since Nightbeat's my favourite Autobot and he's not getting a better toy :p

Just curious; how exactly would that work? Like, would they just release headless bodies? Because if they just released them as normal headmasters, well, kind of removes the point of the Titan Masters - unless they come with different, fiction-accurate heads as opposed to the toy-accurate heads on said Titan Masters?
Also where did this rumour come from cos I love me some nightbeat

The rumor came from a podcast among a slew of rumors for the next year or so of transformers not announced and revealed, such as a Godbomber, Sixshot, Nautica etc.
And the current titan master heads serve as an "alternative head" so to speak. so you can get a toy or cartoon accurate head and swap at will

I'm looking for parts, Help Me Out Please!

I decided that I am going to wait on that purchase. I think it is too premature, and unwise to try and get this early. I however still want him, but I'll have to wait. Hopefully I can get him maybe at the end of this year or next year without being a rare figure to pay scalper prices on. If it gets too expensive I'll just probably get the Hasbro version with the DNA Design upgrade kit.
Also, a Nautica figure would be EPIC.

A Nautica figure would be pretty cool, but it won't really mean much to me because I don't read the comics. Also, please give me a Titans Return Godbomber to go with Titans Return Powermaster Optimus, Hasbro and/or Takara! Please!!!! Now that the possibility is there, I must have it! It will also give me another excuse to buy Titans Return PM Optimus Prime aside from "I don't own CW Ultra Magnus."

I think Magnus looks a lot better than this new Prime personally.

Not me, I love it all. But the reason why is because I don't know much about these G1 characters, they are so niche for me, I didnt grow up with those toys. So to me they are just random names used more as tongue in cheek homage rather than really being an incarnation of those G1 characters. And thats what I think it really is. I dont think hasbro sees them as the actual characters, just a name to give.
So I dont mind. Gives me some more minibots, extra heads and fun weapons/vehicles.

The latter is what is presumed to be the case for those rumored full-bodied figures, given how the Takara releases of Hardhead and Skull come with all new fiction-accurate heads instead of the newer-designed heads that the Hasbro ones have.Kurona wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:It has been rumoured that those without bodies may receive full bodies in later waves, so don't lose hope about a proper nightbeat
