I think fun is one of the things they are pushing silently the hardest. That middle display with Fort Max had so many fun little easter eggs. TR is going be a fun line to play with as well as to collect.Kurona wrote:Okay, that is wonderful. Just imagining two titan masters riding in his tank mode shooting at things reminds me of this.

I don't know, this line seems inherently more fun. Maybe it's all the little vehicles and play sets. Things that aren't just transformers or action figures to stand on a shelf and look cool. TR seems like something that will be spread across the living room floor, made into bases and have battles for hours.
CW seemed more like a thing to collect with the fun coming in the mixing and matching. TR just seems more toy like to me. Maybe that's why I wasn't that in to TR at first. I thought I wanted cool things on a shelf to tinker with from time to time. Maybe my perspective is changing?
Yes, I do like the MP line, it's one of my focuses this year. The other being some of the nicer classics/universe stuff that I missed and botcon helped me fill in some nice gaps (you were right about the classic seekers btw, they are great).william-james88 wrote:I forget Cary, were you into the MP Line? I dont remember that being your thing. Because if cool stuff on a shelf to tinker from time to time was your thing then I would have strongly encouraged MP. Thats the king of all that. And yes I do find it fun that we have something at the tail end of that spectrum available too

You know those pegs are still gonna be LINED with Stripeswilliam-james88 wrote::lol:Kurona wrote:So Stripes, the one guy people don't care much about, is being packed the least.
Yay!For once it seems like Hasbro is well aware of what will sell better. More Rewind and Wheelie than Stripes!
To be followed by a ravage of black plastic.itscramtastic wrote:You know those pegs are still gonna be LINED with Stripeswilliam-james88 wrote::lol:Kurona wrote:So Stripes, the one guy people don't care much about, is being packed the least.

He looks cool and has clear wheels ala RID Drift. Hmmm... He could be RID Drift's lil broitscramtastic wrote:Somehow I keep forgetting about Wheelie, I can't wait to get that guy!!
Awesome to all of the above!DigitalBrave3 wrote:I can't remember if I've already said this in this thread or not, but I went to BotCon and saw the Titans Return figures in person. They look absolutely amazing in person! The molded detail makes up for all the hollowness, though hollow parts have never bothered me that much. Blurr's plastic color kinda looked a little bit lighter than in photos to me. The Titan Masters are so tiny! I wish I had brought my Headrobots Stronghold to try and estimate the height of the Titanmasters, but I can tell from a glance they are smaller than Stronghold and maybe even smaller than Micromasters and Mini-cons. Blaster and Soundwave look incredible in person! I'm definitely getting both of them. Alpha Trion looked great, PMOP looked really cool in person, Galvatron looked even more bad*ss than he already did, the deluxe all looked really good, Fortress Maximus has me very excited, and the stand-alone Titanmaster heads are wonderful and their cheap price means I can buy a ton of them.
RiD Drift has clear wheels?! Never noticed!carytheone wrote:He looks cool and has clear wheels ala RID Drift. Hmmm... He could be RID Drift's lil broitscramtastic wrote:Somehow I keep forgetting about Wheelie, I can't wait to get that guy!!
Bonus: not sure if it was newsed or not but a TM can drive Wheelie.

Seems like it's another Blurr repaint of a Drift figure?! Looks like it to me!william-james88 wrote:Yeah, its smokey but clear plastic. I didnt notice that on Wheelie. If ou want a real clear plastic effect, check out the blizzard deco drift, his wheels look good enough to eat!
I've been looking for a good pic on the internet, but unless the fever made me mad I remember Wheelie having the same smokey grey plastic wheels.william-james88 wrote:Yeah, its smokey but clear plastic. I didnt notice that on Wheelie.
