People seem to be snapping the rotors while trying to fold them (when they don't fold). - or is there some other issue.

As to the issue of gappy-guns - the ones with squarish holes left in them like Highbrow or Wolfwire/Weirdwolf look like an Energon magazine would be a good filler for them.

When I look at Skullsmasher/Skullcrunchers tail I think a smaller mirror of the tail that can fit inside the same way up and also allow gun storage or flip the other way up and put a cabin roof on the gun seat mode - as well as look more like the original toy's tail club - and then also it would fit in the hole or on the plug and make a double shield mode.

That sort of thing would be Useful - and it would only need one piece or two if you add a handle.

Also gap fillers for the legs would be nice but I'm gonna try to whittle my own when I can be bothered.

It would appear from the new pictures up at Tformers that Rodimus' ab flip down is optional. Meaning you can opt for non-hollow abs.

Not sure about Hot Rod, who looks more likes an Deluxe sized Legends figure to me. I honestly prefer how he turned out on his Classics set more, but I know that there will be some fans that would be interested in him.

Twinferno looks neat, but I can almost tee another face on his torso. :-$

Most people seem to agree that Chromedome and Wirewolf are the winners of the wave. Those being the two I have myself, can't say I find Wolfy an easy one to beat.

highbrow is the weakest.mindwipe isnt bad but he isnt good.i feel like hes more posable than weirdwolf

And no, I don't have Highbrow, he's not out over here yet unfortunately. I'm actually torn as to whether to go for TR Highbrow or the Highbrow-in-name-only but utterly awesome looking ROTF figure. On the one hand, Headmasters are cool, and TR Highbrow looks like a fun figure. On the other hand, ROTF Highbrow looks awesome and he turns into a homage to a P-38 Lightning. Decisions decisions...

I think Hardhead's big gun is about the best weapon in the TR line to this point. Highbrows' guns are probably second, for me. I agree about the large gap, but Hardhead does it right with that panel that swings over to close it; Highbrows' guns are just cool looking on their own, ignoring that gap.

The Blur gun is cool, but is already overdone. And I think the weapons that are large enough to hold a Titanmaster are largely junk, Chromedome and Weirdwolf being the worst offenders there.

As for the ROTF Highbrow, that is a cool figure but one that has zero poseability. I've bought that thing like three times over, and it's one of those toys that looks cool but is severely limited. The GDO Powerdive and Botcon Obsidian are the best versions, in my opinion.

I just got him this weekend, and I like him. The wings fold up in to the robot legs, which I think is pretty interesting in terms of design, but there are some things I'm not really thrilled about with him.
I don't like that the bat head just hangs off his butt. I think his shield/claw/somehow bat tail thing is really crummy. His bat mode is also kind of static, just a squat bat that sits there. Overall I like him, but he is not as good as Weirdwolf.

I also found Walgreens Brainstorm, and I think he looks excellent in robot mode. Vehicle mode is just the Blur car with wings though, and it's hard to see anything but that. I think Blur has a fabulous alt mode, but just tossing wings on it doesn't really make it a space jet, for me at least.

I just prefer the TR deluxe because it's in scale - both in terms of MTMTE and the Headmasters.
The Thrilling 30 figure looks beautiful but for the life of me I'll never understand why they went Voyager.

I wonder if they went Voyager because they weren't sure if they could pull off the Head Madter gimmick at a smaller scale yet. I often wonder T30 Brainstorm was a test run for what was coming.

And Kurona, I'm surprised to hear you say that. T30 is such a dead ringer for IDW Brainstorm.

He is... but on the other hand it's not like the TR one isn't far behind. He's even got the facesculpt and everything; and at that point, I'll take a slightly less accurate appearance over a very inaccurate size - especially when the only other voyager-sized MTMTE guys are Whirl and Megatron. Having Brainstorm as big as them and towering over most of the cast - especially Chromedome and Perceptor - would just be... wrong.

Might end up getting a loose Thrilling 30 one if I can find him for cheap though. Mostly for the guns.

I like Mindwipe. I think his bat mode looks cool, I love waving him around in my hand like he's flying. And when he's landed, you can fold his wings forward like he's in a resting pose so it looks a bit better. Though I don't like how his bat head just hangs there, alot of animals do it. Like the other two headmasters, the dinobots and so on. So it doesn't bother me too much.

Honestly, I don't think there's a dud in all of wave 2 deluxe.

And I got Fortress in the kapow sale. Some bits are a little loose, but he's massively grown on me once I loaded him up with guys. Although I can't see the cerebros head being anything but a weak wliled pacifist, I did a head swap with a mate who had the sdcc and wanted the rebirth head (I wanted the fortress head for the little dude) and now he looks much better. He looks like someone who would shoot a combiner point blank in the face (as he's currently posed doing!)
