Seibertronian Sammythekat has sent along a brand new, English language review for the highly-anticipated Transformers Titans Return Overlord! The review, done again by Cheftron, shows off the figure's pros and 'cons (heh), just in time for it to start showing up as available in major online retailers, such as Robot Kingdom. Mine shipped last night from Robotkingdom so hopefully he will be here Friday or Saturday next week. He is possibly my most anticipated figure. I can't wait to have him and his fellow phase sixers standing proud

For all that I bashed TR Blaster and Soundwave because of their size, I've been warming up to them.. I guess they could be justified as Powermaster upgrades of the characters or something like that. I'm becoming tempted by them, especially since the design isn't an afterthought like TR Powermaster Optimus Prime.

Speaking of TR PMOP, I had a customization idea for him: Making the trailer roof panels on his arms able to detach and combine into a handheld shield (this would give clearance for his other hand to be able to hold the guns' combined hammer mode. I've also contemplated alternate mounting ideas for the roof panels: from the back of his shoulders Fortress Maximus style, or if I do the shield mod making it able to mount on his back to add resemblance to the original toy.

That Walgreen's exclusive two boxed set isn't out yet? Will it be out after the last Wednesday in July? My comic book bill was way too high from too much Transformer buying. The pink or red one looks cool. I don't know about the other one because it's a beast Transformer, but that looks like a cool couple of Transformers.

I found a Walgreens that looks like it's not too hard to find because I know what street it's on and how to walk to the street and hopefully get on a bus going in the right direction and won't mind saying I found it, but I only have about ten posts to go to lose my title. I sent them an online message, and I asked them to let me know when a package of those two comes in. The address of the one I found is 3299 North Woodland Boulevard, and I'm hoping if I wait at the bus stop that's to the right of Kenny's Grocery store is the right bus stop to wait at. I'll let people know; but I don't see any more titles named after Transformers that aren't hard and expensive to find, so people will have to watch the edits.

Soundwave might be a little big, but Blaster is pretty close to where he should be. Have you ever had the G1? Sucker's one of the tallest autobots in g1.

Cloudraker? He's red unless they color "corrected" him like the movie did to HotRod in some releases.

Well, I'm happy that now Mega has her own Transtector and Giga has one. Sky Shadow and Overlord are gonna be one of the best molds in the Titans Return line

None other than that, they can do the "Space-Jet" Mode by combining the Legs and the Jet itself

Wonderful review thanks for no showing articulation see one voyager figure articulation you see them all same as deluxe, legends , leader class and master piece see articlaution on figure is same as watch same movie over fifty times in one week,.

Good figure if I had choose which overlord figure I buy it be third party version it looks little better and you don't put heads in his chest which looks goofy to me he's good cheap figure variation of overlord but I choose save up to buy third party version of over lord

Anyone tried pressing on the center chest of Overlord? If so, what happened?

No, I haven't had the G1 toy, but I am aware that it was huge (probably because of the radio gimmick the MicroChange release had). His presentation in fiction, however, scaled him down to being equal in size to Soundwave. I was annoyed that, instead of making the duo Voyagers (which would put them both at their cartoon size compared to most CHUG figures and TFTM-onward G1), they kept Blaster's fiction-to-toy size discrepancy and gave it to Soundwave too.

I find myself wanting them now, though. And probably their midgets to go with them, even if said midgets' turning into mini-tablets instead of full-size or quasi-full-size cassettes is a bit silly considering.

FYI there are ZERO sightings of the Walgreens boxset at a Walgreens yet. They have not been found in the US. Please wait for a sighting until you start hunting just for that or else you are just going to get dissapointed early. Of course, if you go to Walgreens for any other purpose and stumble upon them, please let us know

What's the verdict on chaos on Velocitron set? Snagged one off amazon but unsure if I want to keep it. And wasn'000t this supposed to be a TRU exclusive?

The article did say leaked, plus blacklai is from Asia. They're not supposed to be out yet.

Has anyone else discovered that Blurr can fit inside PMOP's trailer?

I wonder if there's any chance of Rumble getting a reissue.. He seems to have been quite the shortpacked figure.

Still going to wait for the version, but it looks like the version isn't too bad. If not for the cost, I wouldn't mind owning both versions, so maybe if I see the US Overlord for a discounted price at some point, I might pick it up.

Nope Amazon, which was why I was confused. Price paid was msrp. Someone from another forum suggested TRU's exclusivity was time sensitive, which kinda makes sense.

Me too. I always go to the local Walgreens here looking because they usually get the newest waves of deluxe before the other stores for some reason.

Maybe Amazon bought some from TRU.

In any case, amazon has been selling the set for $99. The supply has been a trickle, as they make a few available, but they sell out in minutes. All deciding if I want it. The clone intrigues me, but none of the other figures interest me. The set isn't cheap.
