Mindmaster wrote:Put your First Order Stormtrooper helmet on, get your riot control baton out, and call me a "TRAITOR!", but I nicked this off of TFW2005: what was shown at (the much heavily secure than last year) Nuremburg Toy Fair! This part is Titans Return related, I posted what was revealed for the Platinum Edition line here. Besides that, nothing new appeared, and (frighteningly) no Computron nor Liokaiser was shown off. Anyway...Titans Return:
• Titan class Fortress Maximus – said to be very massive and very G1-accurate
• Most of the already-known TR toys in package, including the Deluxes
• Leader class Powermaster Optimus Prime – said to look very nice in person
• Titan Masters Apeface – new reveal
• Legends class Wheelie – new reveal, is said to be very G1-ish with a windshield that opens to have a seat for Titan Masters
• Leader class Blaster
• Leader class Soundwave
Note that Apeface is labeled as a "Titan Master"... looks like he's getting the Nightbeat/Squeezeplay treatment and is just getting a head and a vehicle for right now (though rumors are abound that later in the line that characters like this will receive the real deal treatment, and that these are alternate heads to use).

Chromedome is a very heavy retooled dead end mold so I would say titan returns deluxes are the same size for the most part.

Now if this is true, that would mean this damn dead end mold would still be used for Titans Return![]()
But its just a rumour so we will see.

Anyway, the same guy also said that Apeface and all the other Titan Masters will get full bodies at some point.

Maybe he could be a full new mold but using the same basic transformation, much like DotM Roadbuster and AoE Lockdown

I loved all of the designs (sans menasor's torso mode) they were fun and clever, and worked well considering they had what was ostensibly identical torso's. While I'm not sure I can call any of them individually my fave figures (maybe if my swindle had been engineered correctly) - though I forsee hope Sky Awesome combined as my favorite figure of the year, who may be dethroned depending on how Deathsaurus turns out.
But the combined modes will hold most of the place in my heart forever, it's been a truly wonderful lineZeroWolf wrote:I knew that Alpha Bravo was the source of all thiswill titans return give us anything like the cult of AB though?

umm, it's Crashbash buddy. It's the headmaster for Squezzeplay stuffed into a jawless dinosaurs body in lieu (as of right now) of giving us an actual Squezzeplay, but it would be kinda cute as Trypticon, kinda like a Q-TF of Trypticon

i like how these are quad changers! Head/Robot/& 2 other modes
although it makes me wonder how many modes Fort Max head will haveor should that be heads
seeing as it's possibly a double Headmaster(since we're told it's GI accurate)

They aren't quad-changers. The headmaster transforms from head to robot and using one of those modes can interact with the vehicle, itself which is vehicle, another vehicle and a weapon

One of the Nuremberg Toy Fair rumors said that the big Fort Max head would be just head to robot with no other mode.Stuartmaximus wrote:ah but....you still never answered as to how many modes you think that Fort Max's head will have

In "The Rebirth, Part 3", he turned into a scaled-down version of Fort Max's city mode.Mindmaster wrote:Sabrblade wrote:One of the Nuremberg Toy Fair rumors said that the big Fort Max head would be just head to robot with no other mode.Stuartmaximus wrote:ah but....you still never answered as to how many modes you think that Fort Max's head will have
That's fine with me. Did Cerebros even transform into anything in fiction? I know his original toy transformed into a communications facility or something, but I don't think he actually transformed into anything but Fort Max's head in fiction.

Cerebos transformed into a computer station in the cartoon and one of FM's buildings. I am sure intrepid fans will come up with something. We always do.Mindmaster wrote:Sabrblade wrote:One of the Nuremberg Toy Fair rumors said that the big Fort Max head would be just head to robot with no other mode.Stuartmaximus wrote:ah but....you still never answered as to how many modes you think that Fort Max's head will have

I am just wondering what modes he would have.He had so many modes in the cartoon that I doubt that they'd have the budget to do something so diverse. Actually to be honest I would be perfectly fine with him turning into a space ship and a battle station or something.
