The one I think people are referring to as "Alpha Trion" looks to me to be closer to a Tigerhawk. Odd choice to be sure, but that's who he looks like to me. Elements of BW Silverbolt, but closer to Tigerhawk.

That is Alpha Trion, same color palette, face looks similar, he's already been noted in the rumors...

Though, that would be a fascinating idea for a re-use of this mold

Tigerhawk isn't pink and purple, nor did he have a big orange sword.

Plus there is a lion head on each of Alpha Trion's shoulders in that pic, sorta like Lio Convoy only with two lion head shoulders instead of one.

Thanks for the conversion mem I was supposed to add it myself but I had other matters to tend to. I do have to wonder though why the price hike on deluxes but a smaller (in comparison) hike on voyagers. I am dreading the other shops following suite when titan returns hits UK shores but for know it's only argos inflating the prices.

I just bought Brainstorm along with a few CW limbs I was missing, they should arrive in a week or so.

To get the complete 13 would be awesome, they could have released a Nexus Prime with Combiner Wars or even alongside Titans Return given his association with Headmasters.

(A combiner made up OF Headmasters...imagine that! )

Yup they did. Though I am suspicious as if that was just legal speak to let us know that Sky Reign wouldnt be the last combiner (which we now know he isnt). Still, just like the rest of you I would love all 13. Especially Solus Prime!

y'know...at first glance....it kinda looks more like Galvatron! coz the AOE one had that big circular thing in his chest!

& that weapon he's holding....kinda looks the same colour as G1 Galvatron's lazer canon

Onyx Prime seems the other obvious choice for a Headmaster member of the 13.

Could make him extra beastly by having a non-humanoid headmaster minifig.

Does anyone know what Onyx Prime's beast mode is supposed to be? I can only find that pic from the Covenant of Primus, looks like an Eagle or maybe even a Griffin or something but it's hard to tell. (Griffin would work just fine for me though )

You say that, but so did people who had Brainwave and Warbot Defender.

The one thing you have on your side though is that the actual look of Solus Prime is not well defined in the media, unlike that of Springer and Brainstorm and thus, much easier to accept something differing from any "source".

Perhaps, but it's more to do with the poseability, being able really to capture her femininity (the double torso joints allowing for natural feminine contra-pasto stances and such) and the exceptional color palette (best color combo ever)

But beyond that, I don't mind having a beautiful action figure on my desk - that just happens to transform into a car, if it weren't for the colors and new head, I wouldn't have bothered (all the weapons didn't hurt though)

I'm sure they do, since now all they have to do is change the torso of the mini bot, they don't even have to change the headmasters head if they source them from somewhere else, takes the ease of repainting to a whole new level

What about a Combiner made up of Headmasters where you have to remove the heads to combine it but then, wait for it, the heads themselves also combine...to form a massive Combiner head!
