Except it would be incompatible with the cw combiner peg, and they would lose the x-axis rotation in the neck, no thanks

From what little I can make out from the image of Alpha Trion, it does look like a good figure, but to me it doesn't automatically say "Alpha Trion", it feels more like it was designed as a different character first (some folks on here have pointed out the two halves of a lion's head on his shoulders) then repainted in Alpha Trion colours. Of course the final product will most likely look better than this photo, but that's just my first impression.

To me ke kind of looks like Vector Prime with beast kibble. And that kind of works with the fact that the last big trasforming Alpha Trion figure we had was taken from that mold.



It's interesting, it really looks like they used both botcon exclusive ideas and combined them.

the only problem with that is...wouldn't it make the head too big? unless you were going for the Master Made look

the only problem with that is...wouldn't it make the head too big? unless you were going for the Master Made look

I was indeed suggesting just that. I guess it would make for an enormous head...oh well, we'll just have to make Nexus Prime a Titan Class figure to compensate

I heard someone suggest a similar thing for Fortress Maximus once too.

Any chance we will see more of him at Toy Fair or do you suppose his release is still too far off?

I missed out on Metroplex's release and now I can't find him for cheaper than $500AUD online so I am anxious to get FM as soon as he is released to make up for this.

Hasbro has said they are moving to make a titan release a year so I'd imagine that fort max would be another summer release (or fall, probably more fall now I think about it)

I expect him at the toy fair but it also wouldn't surprise me if they waited till botcon for a proper look
