hoping they would fix that
I actually kind of like his guns not being mirrored copies of each other. It sets them apart from other TR weapons - kind of like Scourge's guns did - and while they don't match if you sit them under the wings it's not the end of the world. They're still less unbalanced-looking than the CW jets ended up with, and if we're lucky there might even be a central mounting point so they can sit symmetrically at the middle of the jet, instead of one on each wing.
...Though given how Triggerhappy fared with vehicle weapon-mounting options, I'm hesitant to be optmistic on that last part.

I Expect Astrotrain will be re-issused on the next wave together with Blitzy and Octone (Regional name, kinda more like it)![]()

I'm not sure if Astrotrain is available online, but I doubt that he'd be re-released in Wave 5 sadly. As far as I can remember, Voyager case assortments consist of 4 figures and have (up til now at least) had a maximum of two different figures per wave. To add an Astrotrain re-release in with the other guys would mean that either Octone or Blitzwing would have to be packed at 1-per-case, or even crazier, each of them at one-per-case and Astrotrain at double that. Either way two of the three would end up with half as many figures on the shelves as the third, and that probably wouldn't work out so well - especially if a majority of people already have Astrotrain and so wouldn't be buying him again.
'Course, this is all based on my knowledge of how Voyager cases work which could be entirely wrong, but I'm preeety sure it's correct? Take my reasoning with a grain of salt though, until someone else can confirm that's how it works.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Insurgent wrote:Both look great and I'll happily get them both when I see them for £15ish.
As for the complaints, how many times was the original classics seeker mould used? Including retools? I don't remember people crying bloody murder then. If they were straight up repaints, I can understand. But complaining that they shouldn't share any parts, when they have this extensive a retooling so they look completely different? You're kinda coming across as spoiled. It's one thing to say you wished they had all new parts, but to be actively complaining about it? When Triggerhappy is the only use of the mould so far? (Yes, yes, Metalhawk, but he's not out yet either). And that still brings the total to less than the total number of times the classics seeker mould was released in mainstream only.
And for the list of Dead End repaints/retools, you also forgot Flowspade. Or do Takara not count in your list?

I was originally just going off whatever uses I could remember for that list, and the fact that Takara did their own versions did totally slip my mind. But if you want to include all uses of that mold (according to the wiki to make sure I didn't forget anyone this time)...
Dead End, Brake-Neck, Streetwise, Prowl, Smokescreen, G2 Dead End, G2 Brake-Neck, Dustup, Lightsteed (forgot that one!) Bluestreak, Unit-3, TT Dead End, TT Wildrider, TT Streetwise, TT Prowl, and TT Flowspade.
Yyyeeahh, compared to a redeco and two heavy retools (if that) of Triggerhappy I'd say we're doing pretty good so far.

... yeah. That's a nigh-perfect update. There's a couple details a little off - particularly in that he should have a visor and his four boob things should have some painted detail - but otherwise I'm willing to call this perfect.

And the new one has eyes instead of a visor. That's not a criticism just a difference. I actually quite like the new face sculpt, I think it gives him a bit more character

I like that when you combine the 2 guns, you get an approximation of his Targetmaster.

Huh I didn't notice that. That's rad as hell. I'm now surprised and disappointed they didn't do that with the other targetmasters
