In other news, I've finally gotten to lay my hands on Brainstorm - thanks again for the tips nycPrime!! - Perceptor, and Topspin (oh yeah and Repugnus) and first thoughts are that they're all pretty great. It might be the hype and expectation I've had going into it for almost exactly a year now, but I think Brainstorm is honestly my favorite out of the three so far, despite the genius that is Topspin's engineering. Was super excited that my Target was getting a shipment of movie voyagers, tr deluxes, and tr leaders. Unfortunately what showed up was a case of effing wave 3 deluxes and wave 1 movie voyagers, the tr leaders haven't shown up yet, but I'm no longer holding my breath for overlord, let alone black shadow or sixshot

I got Sky Shadow late last week and I really dig the figure. Yes, it's Overlord but seeing as we'll be getting and entirely new jet with that set Sky Shadow stands on its own.

Yes you can. Just do the base mode but don't lift the nose of the jet. There you go. Pretty simple, yet look very nice.

The tank splits into the leg configuration in the G1 toy, the new mold can't connect in that way so this is the closest possible.
EDIT 5:28 12/6: unless they changed the back or tank front on overlord.

Much as I wish he would, my cat will never stay still long enough for me to set up a Transformer riding him - and believe me, I've tried. It's almost like it's uncomfortable for him when I stick a sharp, (relatively) large and heavy plastic object around his neck...

The only wave 4 figures I have yet to find are the titan masters, which is a shame because I really want Shuffler and Repugnus. The only titan masters around are wave 3, which are shelfwarming here, and then there are stores that are also sold out and are out of stock and not restocking for a while.

All this Sky Shadow talk made me grab mine to play with, he's awesome, but the best part was watching my 2 year old grab the tank from me and fly it around the living room in her diaper making swooshy sounds.
Baby Girl loves some Titans Return. She calls the Titan Masters baby robots, "they're soooo, cute!".
Also, did I just get super lucky finding Octone and Blitzwing a couple weeks ago? Have they not shown up much at retail yet?

Sky Shadow and Overlord's jet are mostly identical to the SR-71 Blackbird
But they have different Tanks
For Sky Shadow, mostly is from the M1 Abrams
Overlord, however has a some kind of a Type 10 MBT from the JGSDF
