I find it incredible how despite the character designs being designed concurrently with the movie, Galvatron's toy stands out like a sore thumb as being probably the most innaccurate toy besides like Ratchet or something. (talking about the original G1 toyline of course)
Not really. Wheelie was probably the worst besides Ratchet's mold.
Constidering what they were working with, Galvatron was probably one of the most accurate figures as far as molded detail. Consider the later Japanese reissue:
Transformers G1 1986 Galvatron (Reissue) Gallery
Transformers G1 1986 Galvatron (Reissue) Gallery
Only the colors were off on the original Galvatron, and even though the colors on Wheelie weren't too bad, the molding is what was very off on g1 Wheelie. When repainted, Galvatron looked pretty darn accurate.

Seriously, is this how they're going to be sold? I'd have assumed there was a massive string of theft going on if this is what I saw on the shelves.

With most of those photos, the guy under the vehicle mode is the Titanmaster. If this is supposed to be A3's ship mode, that Titanmaster doesn't look a lot like Sovereign. People over at TFW2005 were saying that this could be our first look at Broadside/Tidal Wave. It is a bit farfetched, though.

Which is why I said "People from TFW2005 were saying", and not "I think". And when I submitted this, I hadn't read enough of the forum, as I was a bit caught up in the potential hype of the moment (that image was also posted there, too).
Fair enough. I still really want to see Broadside, as he hasn't gotten an actual toy since the original (at least the G1 version).william-james88 wrote:Autobot N wrote:william-james88 wrote:Its not. Its just a drawing of this same ship:

I know, I didnt mean to come off as agressive, your a cool dude. I was just replying to the idea of people thinking its broadside and simply saying it wasn't.
THIS IS MADNESS!!!!william-james88 wrote:king Leonidas

Accidentally.
