No, but it's something I thought I'd bring up since I've been dealing those people a lot on other sites lately.

Greatshot being a redeco was never an actual rumour, just a fan wish (unless you ca show me otherwise). The current rumour is that Quickswith will be a redeco of Sixshot and be avalable in a box set.

Nautica, the Autobot Clones (Fastlane & Cloudraker) and a Voyager who I think is an Optimus repaint.

And believe me I'm also as angry. These characters have piss all to do with each other, and chances are if you care particularly about any one character in the boxset you don't care about any of the others. I just want a Nautica and I'm expected to pay 100 quid just to get her and a Leader I don't care about and isn't in any fiction with her (hell, he's barely in any fiction period), the Autobot Clones who I also don't care about and aren't in any fiction with her, and another Optimus who despite being in the same fiction as her has not yet shared a scene with her. The whole thing's absolute bollocks; if you're going to do a boxset at least have the characters have something to do with each other rather than packaging a bunch of randoms together.

Quickswitch will be in the speed set with Nautica, fastlane, cloudraker, some Voyager and titan master Thunderclap. Why would two of the same leader mold be in the same box set? Plus we already know that Sixshot is wave 3's leader class figure.

I think the voyager in the box set will probably be some sort of Nemesis Prime. Either that or maybe an Albino Prime, but that doesn't make much sense at all.

That's probably where a Scourge repaint would come in, actually.
He has nothing to do with the other characters in the boxset but that doesn't stop Nautica from being packaged with Quickswitch

Well, we didn't get the really obvious repaints of the last two titans. It seems Titan repaints are relegated purely to SDCC 'premium' versions. (Read: pointless chroming and half-hearted 'show-accurate' decos)

I'm still a bit annoyed at this idea of the box sets. Such things like that seem a bit ridiculous and aggravating for those who want only 1 of those characters (for me and K: Nautica)

At the least, these had better be better than just some bodies with new heads. If they are going to do this, there had better be some nice remolding with this.

I don't really mind it, but I suppose it's because I'd be in for a Quickswitch and clones.

Aye, if they were really gonna do a boxset they should've packaged characters with relevance to each other.
Like, you could put Nautica with Nightbeat, Getaway, Overlord and a MTMTE-styled Hot Rod with a new head (I know they all have individual retail releases; just as an example if this was gonna be the only way you could get them). It'd still be really annoying if you only want one of them, but at the very least you're more than likely to want all of those at some point - maybe not all at once, but most people would want them for MTMTE collections.

Its been happening for years with Botcon toys though, and even platinum sets, and SDCC and Scrounge. But I agreem, it blows.

I doubt it. Most Boxsets are just redecos, many dont even have new heads.

Well the rumors already said that Nautica will be remolded from blurr, so there's that.

I agree though, these are nothing new, but they tend to be really cool, and almost all tend to feature better than average deco's and end up being worth it, but these sound pretty pricey though, maybe they're reviving the ol' tradition of Christmas-season-store-exclusives, something I've sorely missed in the years since Animated
