So I can't ever say I completely passed on the TR line, because I picked up Rumble and Lazerbeak on Thursday (although I haven't opened them yet).
There was only 1 of each at the Target I was in, and one Ravage. But as it's kinda been discussed here recently, that mold is not good. At all... I'm hoping for a Frenzy, and even a Ratbat.

The rumored Predaking could end up just being a Razorclaw???!?!?!!
Surely not, right?

(I would actually love those two full combiners to happen - maybe not so keen on Abominus but I'd definitely make a beeline straight for Predaking. Just grown a wee bit cynical over the years)

Just checked my local Walgreens. Nary a Brainstorm in sight, but they did have a Scourge, a Blurr, and a Chromedome.

Anyway, I don't see how HasTak could release "updates" of either of those characters and not have them be combiners at this point. Don't get me wrong, obviously it's possible.
But wow, a lot of people would be very letdown... Especially with Predaking.
I would hope that they'd figure out how to create both teams with re-tooling, and even if those are two of the very last combiners and it costs some $$$$,
first off, Predaing is a fan favorite and worth it.
Secondly, with all the re-using of the CW molds, even though these two rumored groups would require extensive re-tooling, new headsculpts, etc., imo, they almost owe it to us to do these characters right.

I don't think any retooling could be done for the beast combiners (unless it's something like twinferno > sinnertwin and not based on CW molds), most of them would require completely new molds. Especially the likes of Razorclaw and Divebomb/Cutthroat.

I meant re-tooling of the Predacons to create the Terrorcons.
Either way, yeah, the Predacons would be new molds. But again, I think it's a fair argument that they're more popular than some of the other combiners that have already been released.
So even if they can't get as many re-uses from these new molds other than for Abominus and maybe a couple for Piranacon, I'd say it's still worth it.

I tried 3 yesterday and only saw a Chromedome, Skullsmasher, and Highbrow. I don't think I'm going to bother going out of my way to hunt it until someone else finds it.

Oh please no... Just one good updated, yet G1-esque version. That's all I ask!!

To be honest, that Prime update was the same as a G1 update to me. Different scale sure, but the update in design was about the same as how G1 Wierdwolf changed into TR Wolf Wire. They were all very G1, colours and all.

i was hoping that they would have made them all larger scale not just do a couple of the upscaled cyberverse as beasthunters deluxe

As much as I like the Prime Terrorcons, I would still like versions that aren't quite so overtly dragons. They lost a bit of their original charm by all being one specific type of monster instead of just going for a very broad definition.

The wave contents, now, instead of a3 and astrotrain, it's galvy and a3 (which means hasbro must think that a3 and galvy are the ones people are going to want - which is great for a3 given the abnormal amount of paint hasbro used on him) and I seriously doubt that anything on galvatron has been changed - I'm certain there isn't one - at least until we get absolute confirmation that something has been changed on galvatron
