Well the Ravage wave have hit our area yet, but that tabby cat sure isn't selling well.

Depends on what TRU (or any local distributor) but was Ravage a case/wavemate to Soundwave? In Japan,he is. If not, that may be the reason for him shelfwarming or people out there didn't see the kitty as being almost synonymous to SW the way he was in the original series if they were wavemates.

In the Bayformers series, it wasn't that much emphasized of Ravage and SW's relationship.

Or, his robo/beast mode just sucks eggs.

Yeah, that's exactly what revision cases are. Simply put they just rearrange what figures are in the assortment to give what they believe are more desirable figures a second chance. Hasbro has been using this tactic since the G1 days, though I think it was Beast Wars were it was most obvious thanks to how some earlier figures showed up on multiple package styles.



Package revisions like that were pretty common, though I think they mostly died out after the Unicron Trilogy. Now they just re-offer the same figure, package and all, in new waves. We used to call them things like "wave 2.5", but now Hasbro just prefers to call them "revision wave 2" instead.

If the color scheme isn't the same, then it should be considered a redeco, shouldn't it? Even if the same colors are used.

He's just saying it would be a pretty boring redeco and probably not easily distinguishable on the pegs.

The wave contents, now, instead of a3 and astrotrain, it's galvy and a3 (which means hasbro must think that a3 and galvy are the ones people are going to want - which is great for a3 given the abnormal amount of paint hasbro used on him) and I seriously doubt that anything on galvatron has been changed - I'm certain there isn't one - at least until we get absolute confirmation that something has been changed on galvatron

just wondering since there was a prototype image of him woth a mask. Its like the rid warriors being revised with the weaponizer branding

Aye CW had a Wave revision lately(at least in the UK) consisting of the previously unreleased in the UK....CW BlackJack along with other CW Legends figs that WERE released in the UK previously.

It's like this scene then next hoping the uninitiated just gets it. 'screamer being a backstabber......not really felt it etc etc. All I remember of it is the Pretender scene, the run across the battle field for 1 hour and the gattai sequence of Jetfire.

Not quite: "Mini-Con Weaponizers" is an example of a Subline Imprint, like "Thrilling 30", "Combiner Wars" and "Titans Return" for Generations (though those can be considered full lines on their own).
Case Revisions refer to contents and ratios only. For instance, if one case has:

2x Ravage
3x Laserbeak
3x Rumble

but a later case of the same wave has:

4x Ravage
2x Laserbeak
2x Rumble

...that's considered a revision. If anything's changed on the figures themselves, that's called a Running Change instead. I believe package revisions fall under that too

Nice! Playing around with the base modes on the Leader Class Titans Return figures has been more fun than I would have initially thought, though much of the amusement comes from arranging the base just so, not with actually playing with it per se.

I had a thought earlier today that if they'd not already been doing other things with the Monster-bots there is some potential in a reissued CW Skylynx boxed set with limbs made from CW compatible Terrorcon /seacon slight remoulds as the Monsterbots - for example Blot has some remould potential there - If they needed to make another limb I guess there is Longtooth or Pincher too to consider.

Then Pincher could be made into a Scopulator weapon for CW Devastator when that gets a G2 version sometime.

But regardless of what - I like the idea of some Random Beast Limbs that are Autobots.

I can see there being plenty of potential for CW compatible Beast Limbs and it also gives Hasbro excuses to do the obvious repaints of existing toys as part of some sort of giftset flanker sub-brand (like they do from time to time - 'Clash of the Transformers' for example).

I don't mind to much if they do Predaking as a Titan like Combiner - but likewise I'd not complain to see a Devastator as 6 Deluxes that combine and have the torso be two specific toys - and all the limbs be swapable and CW compatible connectors too.

Just as I'd also not mind a Prime Wars 3.0 Skylynx as a Leader class toy. or a "Random" torso like Hatchet made from Skylynx.

I just think there is a space for mech-Beasts in a Future line including going in hard on the Dinobots again.

Even if some may have a pretty good point that Micromasters would offer better overall play value across a trilogy of lines.

But beasts would sit nicely with Trypticon too.. as well as provide a ready excuse for a Titan Class Scorponok in 2018 and a repaint/slight remould of Metroplex as Metrotitan - with him being hyped as a Micromaster base.

Then if there is demand perhaps in a year that isn't the same as Metrotitan
Grand or Brave Maximus could be made too (or a Gold Autobot city of some sort).

He overpays for things on eBay so that he can have the novelty of being "first" It's not exactly amazing. Anyone can do it if they want to spend nearly twice of what the figure is worth.

He often says he buys on Amazon - but yes he does pay a premium - but he's also got things early as BBTS did or one of the other online retailers.

It's also down to If I may speak on his behalf that he seems to have more interest that is typical in the RID toys that it seems some adult fans ignore or if not ignore - de-prioritise.

It just happens like that sometimes I got the big red RID Optimus pretty early as the person got him from had him shipped out from the day of release and then decided they didn't like it - That thing is pretty much over looked - even if I will admit I did buy it for robot mode shelf-impact and the Minicon that because it's a good toy - it's just OK really but he looks terrific with some of my other Larger Optimus Prime toys.
The white TRU version is a lot more chatty though.
