now...granted it's a preorder! but still! nearly £55 for a Leader Class fig, WHOLY F!!! not even bricks & mortar UK stores(TRU, Smyths Toys) would charge that!(it's usually around £45 for a leader class fig in those stores)

dunno how Kapow can justify their pricing?

Kapow's prices have generally been very high for Titans Return at first. The Voyagers are especially outrageous at £30.
They seem to all go down later, at least as individuals rather than wave packs.

That price is pretty nuts. Still cheaper than Takara's Ginrai

Jokes aside, Leaders cost about 40 pounds in Canada, is that the usual rate in the UK?

And could it be that they are charging more because he i shipped with another leader that was previously released and thus they have to raise their price on him to cover their losses?

Leaders cost £45 at the least in the UK at retail. Kapow tends to have their prices a little higher at first, and there's no way they'd give a new leader with a second one for that insanely cheap.

That is not what I meant. I meant that Hasbro is shipping Leaders 2 per box to retailers. And if only one of those leaders is the new Leader, Sky Shadow, then Kapow loses on the other older leader toy which will take longer to sell (and take up space). So to meet the demand of syshadow they would have to get a ton of the other undesired leader. And sicne they wont sell that leader, they have to up the price on skyshadow. Thats what BBTS does all the time. You were talking of charging 30 pounds for voyagers, BBTS did the same thing for Onslought last year since he was packaged with Scttershot, a voyager no one wanted. And then they did it again with Skylynx when he was packaged with Onslought.

But we dont know if Skyshadow is shipped alone from hasbro (so 2 skyshadow's per case) or not. If its not, then I undestand their price. I dont like it, but they might lose money otherwise.

Since Soundwave *appears* to be pretty scarce still, I'm hoping later that Soundwave and Sixshot are just packaged together, whenever Sixshot comes out, so I can get them both hopefully at the same time. cant even think about Sky Shadow until I get the other two first.

One benefit of the UK; there are too many Soundwaves. My local TRU has 12 of them all stacked up, taking up the majority of the TF section.

So...the UK has Too Many Soundwaves, and almost no Fort Max's...nice... Well I would say I'd be willing to trade one Fort Max for four Soundwaves, but I only need one so...I guess I'll be patient and wait.

Wave 1: Blaster & PM Prime
Wave 2: PM Prime & Soundwave
Wave 3: Sixshot and Sixshot....

makes...no...sense..., but whatever. I just looked on Targets website, they have a cool little tracker to see if any store has an item in stock. There is actually one Target near me (which my family refers to affectionately as "Ghetto Target", because of the area its located in. But they claim online to have a small stock of TR SW at $39.99. Wish me luck. I'm heading out in the rain now on my lunch break from work to see if it is true.

I think there were 2 different case assortments for Wave 2. One with 2 soundwaves per case and another with prime and soundwave

Those are going to be Leader class figures, but chances are they won't be Soundwave. The website only checks the DPCI, which is a code for all Leader class figures. It doesn't know which ones they have.

I did some research, sky shadow comes 2 per case. So yeah, that price from Kapow makes absolutely no sense.

Oh and do you Brits know that Tesco is currently selling TR deluxe toys for 5 pounds?

The best price I can find right now for Leader Soundwave anywhere is through Amazon Prime for $43.85 U.S.D.(Free shipping, no tax). That isn't terrible, still I guess I was spoiled by holiday sales and getting PM Prime & Blaster for about $35 each when it was all said and done.

About 1 in 100 Tescos do by the sounds of it. The only things I see at my Tescos are the occasional RID legend and activators. Not even a hint of TR.

Makes perfect sense, it's the same price as all the other leaders they put up. This is just how it is here.

And I can't find any of those on their website.

I've not seen a single TESCO in 3 counties near me that even sell Titans Returns toys of any size - when I ask the staff they are as perplexed as I am as to why they are not being sent any toys as the customers keep asking them why that is on a constant basis and they have nothing aimed at anyone older than age 6 on their website either.

ASDA went from being reasonable for Transformers to forgetting the brand existed. RID is all most places ever get I NEVER see Titans Returns and I almost never see Rescue Bots except in some very rare exceptions.

EVERYWHERE got that big Optimus with wings & the Rescue Bots Fire station - but that isn't a great toy what with it being a Transformers branded product that doesn't have any transformation play in it all - not so much as even the motorcycle turning into an animal.

It's a shame really as the Rescue Bot Rescue Minicons are terrific and they should be wider distributed I feel. Especially as they are cross-compatible with RID Activators as well.

Sixshot is indeed two per box.

I did some backtracking through the rumors for the next wave, after painstakingly recording the product codes for the line (can anyone supply me the ones for the upcoming wave with Shuffler, Roadburn, Perceptor, Megatron and Sixshot?). These rumored figures already have codes assigned to them, so they're confirmed in my book:

Ramhorn catches my special attention because as a Titan Master it may seem... odd at first. But those who have the Transformers: The Ark II book may remember the concept art for the Cybertron Master Warriors, like Sawback/Lione, Shuffler and Trizer. Supposedly there's an unused one for a rhino in there. Wouldn't it be neat if it was used for Ramhorn?

I couldn't track down a rhino, but, these guys were in there:


Truth be told they could include one of the other humanoid (Kirk, Rodney, Loafer) with a generic animal partner or repainted vehicle. I mean Ramhorn could be their release of one of the humanoid ones. I seriously doubt it, but it's just an idea to float by.

In fact, what's to say that this Ramhorn is even at all related to the one we know? Considering the number of characters in this line that have received name-changes or even taken the names of other known characters, I honestly wouldn't say it's out of the ballpark for TR "Ramhorn" to indeed be entirely based on the rhino-Master, and just use cassette-Ramhorn's name since they have it (presumably; 'Ramhorn' seems to be more-or-less safely trademarked by Hasbro based on recent releases). That wouldn't be too far off from the situation with Lione/Sawback, except that this time the transplanted name would be from a character we're more familiar with.

Were that the case I'd be up for it, since that would mean that 1) We'd probably (maybe?) have better chances of receiving a proper cassette-bot-type update of G1 Ramhorn in the foreseeable future; and 2) I'd get to see what the unused Master Warrior concept actually looks like. I've found text references to it but no actual images, so now I'm really curious to actually see what the original design was, approximately at least.

EDIT: Ninja'd with images by Madeus! Out of the concepts pictured, Ramhorn could in fact be the buffalo. (Again, nothing to really say this one's a rhino except that previous Ramhorns have usually been so.) Though how they might do the horns if that is the case, I have no idea...
