I doubt it. There are no solid cases of wave 3 available from the disributor yet. And in any case, Walgreens doesnt ship cases to stores, they break them up at their regional warehouses and ship figures individually. And remember that Hot Rod is the only figure to be 3 deluxes in a case of 8 deluxes so far, so unless you saw 16 of him (did you?) what actually hapened is they divided up a few cases at the warehouse and shipped 4-6 hotrods to your Walgreens store.

When I nabbed Quake and Kroc from Walgreens they had two of each (More data for the broken case asst. file)But it's got me scrambling all over town hoping to find the store that got the other figures from those cases. No luck yet.

Is it even divided at the town level? For instance with Walmart in Canada my province (Quebec) would get stuff from the Ontario warehouse. It could be that your Walgreens warehouse is not even in your state and thus those figures would be in a different city or state.

if I remember correctly, I had a convo with a Walgreens Manager when I found wave 2 stuff and they confirmed that they do have a warehouse here. We have enough stores here and in the surrounding cities to warrant it.
I'm sure it varies from region to region though.

Who else is army building Gnaw and Kickback? I've got about 5 Sharkticons right now, and I'm thinking of adding a couple more. They look great all bunched up together. I also have extras of each of the Insecticons to represent their "clones." Do any army builders worry they're taking toys away from kids or fellow collectors who might just want one figure of a particular character?

See, i'm really unsure on the subject. I like the concept of army building, but I do fear taking those figures from other people that may really want one, especially if it is a popular toy like Gnaw. I almost bought 2 more Gnaws on Friday, but went against it because of cost concerns. I can see the concept behind it, and I'd do it, but it still feels a slight bit... IDK, not 100% if that makes sense

I'm using the BotCon 2010 Sharkticons as G1 Alicons (in robot mode) for my Classics display.

Don't know if this is a thing or not, but somebody in Canada bought a Broadside and it came with two guns. One was in the usual spot in the packaging, while the other was pegged into the robots hand.

My Hot Rod came with one gun in his hand in the packaging today. Maybe it's just something they do now?

A little column A, a little column B. When I finally spotted wave 3 legends, I nabbed 1 Kickback and 2 Gnaws. I later nabbed another Gnaw. I did feel a little bad, because what if I was the other guy who missed out. Now you can have all the Gnaws, Kickbacks and Bees you want, so mixed feelings I guess. This is my first dip into "army/troop" building and yes they do look nice en masse.

Most of the Walgreens I visit are bursting at the seams with Brainstorms. I just spotted a store today with four of them on a peg with Chromedome and Highbrow stuffing it full. That's pretty much the story in my area (which is about a 2-3 hour drive radius from my house because of work). I've seen Twinferno once at our local TRU and that's been my only sighting of any wave 3 deluxe. It's good to hear a nearby state is seeing a bunch of Hot Rods at WG.

Yeah, they do that. Trigerhappy also came with a gun in his hand.

I used to struggle with army building in my Star Wars days, but then there never seemed to be a drought on Troopers and Clones, so I got over it.
I've bought 3 Sharkies on 3 separate occasions, and each time there were more left to go around.

Better the army buildable characters end up in the hands of loving collectors than in the hands of scalpers, me thinks.
