I agree with this whole-heartedly. I started collecting TFs when Transformers news wasn't as easy to come by during RID and sometimes popping into the store and finding the two-packs that were a surprise was always awesome.

My friend Steve doesn't really collect toys any more, but he has about 50 times the fun going into TRU than I do because he never reads the news.

I still remember going into a store when I was 15 and seeing RID XBrawn prowl and sideswipe and losing it. The autobot logo again! I flipped out and scrapped every cent I could find to buy them. I had no idea it was coming. I honestly think that was the last time I was shocked in a store.

Personally I would be shocked to find current, up-to-date tf stock in a store >:oP

It's not about finding it, it's about seeing something you didn't know existed. I just find it annoying that nowadays when toyfair and botcon come the responses are now "oh we've already aeen all this" we weren't suppose to until the actual release announcement.

I don't have that problem with finding stuff. I have 8 targets, 11 walmarts and 2 toys r uses in witching 20 miles of where I live. By the time sightings start I usually have a week or 2 and they show up here in Iowa.

Meh, I only care about getting them. But the store's 'round me are so poorly stocked at all times, it's a genuine shock to see stuff/new stuff on the shelves >:oP

Beside's this piece-meal method for teasing figures is kinda cool and fun, and, I find that it's actually reigniting that sense of aticipation for new figures, for everything that's been said about the leaks, we still haven't seen all of computron, or alpha-trion, so I'm not concerned, plenty of surprises left for us I'm sure.

I agree. Leaks are fun to an extent, but it does sap a lot of the life out of a big reveal. Even though I myself have seen quite a bit already, those reveals at Toy Fair, Botcon, or SDCC won't be as impactful since I've already most of it.

Still, seeing it for the first time on a shelf, available for purchase is a whole other experience.

Hm, I'm just disgruntled because I've waited so long for an Alpha Trion figure I can afford, I'm disappointed it's not spot on to what I was hoping for (something much closer to the Covenant of Primus). I'd say I'd just eventually get the Botcon one, because that's close enough to what I wanted, but at over $300, that's not happening. I wonder if I'd have to wait another 30 some years before they release another Alpha Trion figure at mass market?

Probably >:oP

But being from the decadent golden age, shouldn't he be a little over the top? I mean it's just an armor design with a lion motif...

These "leaks" are nothing but annoying to me. I love seeing figures early & knowing what's coming down the pipe but these broke pictures that are black and white do nothing for me. Thankfully Toyfair is close..

Me too. Of all the titans return figures, this is the one i am most excited for by far (might have said that about another one, but doesnt matter)

For me too now and Sentinel Prime (I know there'll be a Astrotrain repaint).
I was also looking foreward to Mindwipe, but the new pic disappointed me a bit. Have to wait for clear images but I don't think that'll change my mind, even it's MINDwipe :-P Yeah, bad pun :BANG_HEAD:

Did we already have some suggestions or better some wishes here what would be cool to come.
I would love to get a new Broadside as Voyager class, a new Nova Prime, maybe as another remold of CW Ultra Magnus, a new Snapdragon and some WfC/FoC versions of some characters like Ironhide, Warpath and the Dinobots.

I feel similarly. Tere were already rumours of these. While the pics confirm the rumours they dont add more than simply "we will eventually see this figure". Thats why none of this ruins the nice clean reveals we will get at toyfair. What I am curious of most right now is how Alpha Trion's modes look. I just cant imagine that space ship.

Also, I still cant believe how lame PMOP's base is. I really hope there is an error in the configuration they showed, the guy has a abunch of planks and ramps, USE THEM!

I personally am hoping that we get a Nova and Zeta prime at some point in the prime trilogy. Also a broadside and octane would be great so we can finish off the triple changers. And my last request is for Hasbro to finish off the combiners with Abominus, Predaking, Monstructor and Piranhacon.

Not to be a negative roberta, but I think the time for those versions are loooooooooooong past. I dont think we will ever get more actual WFC/FOC toys aside from homages to those decos in the form of exclusives down the road. Just like we wont be getting an animated Omega Supreme :-(

Yeah, the ship will be interesting. I imagine it will turn out similarly to some of the third party kits alt modes where a decent amount of imagination is needed.

I'm excited for the bases. I hope they integrate & attach together more cleverly than just a peg/hole on the far sides. I'd like to actually create a large base & not just a string of bases sitting side by side.

Ironhide is still possible I think because they use this version in the IDW comics.
And did we ever see Warpath in the MTMTE or RID comics (I haven't read RID issues #1 to #22)?

You see the ramps on each side? Thats how they atach, so it is confirmed that they will attach as a long string of bases... sorry :(

Well both of those are already accomplished in blaster and pm/op. A dynamic hinged clip for combining and dynamic connection locations for pm/op and blaster >:oP

Not true, the ramps on pm/op go backwards behind the base mode:

I think thats a mistake in the transformation. You cant even attach the other ramps from there due to all the obstacles in the back.

Yeah, I wasn't meaning to neglect what we have already seen. I'm just hoping there's something more to it, maybe an alternate way to attach them. It could even just be a way to fit them together like a puzzle rather than clip them together. That would work for me also. It's a stretch but I think it would make them more interesting.

I think thats a mistake in the transformation. You cant even attach the other ramps from there due to all the obstacles in the back.

I'm just working with what I've got, besides, they're attached to the legs, meaning you can configure it however the frag you want - individualized conjoined base modes for everyone

But you could stretch out his thighs to the right and left so there is more room for the connection.

Thats true.
I still think this is a way cooler base mold:

Yeah, I wasn't meaning to neglect what we have already seen. I'm just hoping there's something more to it, maybe an alternate way to attach them. It could even just be a way to fit them together like a puzzle rather than clip them together. That would work for me also. It's a stretch but I think it would make them more interesting.

I know what you mean. You'd like something similar to what Takara did in the Return of Convoy bases where they all fit in an interesting way to make a dynamic ciy.

Personally I'm in the minority that doesn't mind leaks. They don't dampen my enthusiasm for official reveals, if nothing else they just add to my excitement for new figures. With that being said, it would be lovely if Toy Fair does pull out something that wasn't previously announced or leaked. *still hoping for a new Deluxe Ratchet so I don't have to buy the Universe mould*

Alpha Trion is looking great, the lion mode is a good reference to that cancelled Beast Machines Snarl repaint, and you could easily retool it into Lio Convoy or Leobreaker (though I can't see it happening as a main line release, maybe a BotCon exclusive).

If they managed anything like that, I would be very happy! Also is that a robot masters star saber I spy in that takara base mode photo.
