Alpha Trion is looking great, the lion mode is a good reference to that cancelled Beast Machines Snarl repaint, and you could easily retool it into Lio Convoy or Leobreaker (though I can't see it happening as a main line release, maybe a BotCon exclusive).

I've been saying it from the beginning, but they need to display the base mode playability, they need to get a big table and conjoin all of the base modes together and put all the titan master sets in there with the headmasters interacting, like a diorama.

To answer your question: Warpath did appear, but he was badly injured and he was using his Generations toy (pre-CW) so he was not in his WFC mode.

And Ironhide is now going back to Earth so he might take up a new earth form.

I also like leaks as they get me all excited and prepared. And as new information comes in, it just increases the excitement for me and I love it.

I want so many Primes from this trilogy. I just love it all.

I still hoping that we get toys for the rest of the thirteen in the final part of prime wars (and who knows maybe a new unicron and primus...who an I kidding they will be platinums)

But we haven't seen any figures with earth modes in the TR line so far (and I love that ), so it's very likely they don't make any figures with those. We had enough earth modes in the CW line and in the Thrilling 30 line they gave characters like Trailcutter an earth mode who clearly appeared in his cybertronian mode in the comics.

I was trying to answer your questions on Ironhide and Warpath, not insinuate that they will be in TR. And yes it is nice to see non-earth modes appearing en masse.

The Titans Return rumors said that there'd be a triple-changing robot/lion/spaceship Voyager class Alpha Trion figure, and the rumors have been more or less correct about all the other Titans Return figures we've heard about thus far.

I totally forgot about that colored picture. So I guess Alpha Trion is gonna be like the Sentinal Prime figure...a cheesy retool of a mold created for another character in which the retool gets released first. Im calling Lio Convoy as the character this mold was intended for. Im bet the spaceship mode was an afterthought and looks horrible.

I like the Beast Wars Transmetals. They were very cool and maybe Alpha Trion will become something like that.

See, now here's my thing: Sixshot is the transformer that I really want from this prime trilogy. I so badly want a 6-changer in my collection and I feel that in order to accommodate that, he would need to be leader, or even invent a new ultimate class

See, now here's my thing: Sixshot is the transformer that I really want from this prime trilogy. I so badly want a 6-changer in my collection and I feel that in order to accommodate that, he would need to be leader, or even invent a new ultimate class

I think personally Sixshot should be a Masterpiece or just forget it. Hasbro would never be able to put 6 good looking modes in a leader or ultra size at the price point they're going for.

I think they can do it at titan class. ..

Plus it has instant repaint potential as Six Knight!

Never say never Silly. That Astrotrain/Sentinel mold looks very nice and convincing in 3 modes, and considering that for his modes sometimes all you need to do is move 2 or 3 parts it is possible. And something I want. And if he were a titan master, his head could ride a wolf, pilot a jet, ride a gun, drive a transport and tank, and be called Sixchanger or something like that

Or Alpha Trion is the intended use which by the way when they plan retools and repaints they plan them at the same time as the first use of the mold so there is no intended use when all uses of the mold were planned at the same time only exception would probably be straight up repaints that show up a couple years later.



It's not the first time Alpha Trion had a beast mode you know.



How about you actually see an image of the figure instead of a low quality box art pic before saying its awful like you do every time.

Obscure? The guy has had more screen time and dialogue than the vast majority of other characters in G1. He was in the show so much I was convinced there had to be a toy as a kid.

He's in (off the top of my head) 6 episodes and has heavy dialogue in all of them.

I think the Lion is a great choice, if thats what they've gone for. Plus the inevitable remold will probably be pretty interesting, too.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when TF fans unfairly compare Hasbro figures to 3rd party figures.

Plus, he made it into Transformers: Prime, so he's been on the TV screen (relatively) recently.



So, two thoughts:

(1) Will the Titanmaster component be named "A-3"? Or perhaps, "Micronus Prime"?

(2) Are we assuming this is Alpha Trion largely based on the color scheme? Someone earlier did point out that the back story with Nexus Prime and Onyx Prime may be an important point in the Titan Returns story arc, in which case, though it's unlikely that this is Onyx Prime, it could be that part of this is Onyx Prime? (I can't decide if that'd make me more or less inclined to get this figure.)
