G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime was initially planned to have the Headmaster gimmick but the idea was drop during production. So now it does make some sense on the new Titan Returns Powermaster Optimus Prime to have the headmaster gimmick.
Rodimus Prime wrote:The hinge would probably allow for some creative fan modes. Also, could TR Cerebros fit G1 Fort Max and vice versa? How about Warden fitting on the new guy?
Stuartmaximus wrote:i did initially suggest Warden a while back, due to the early schematics of Fort Max since he had tank treads
so maybe that arm joint was meant to be part of some type of Warden configuration or something? & has been left over from that, as well as Metroplex.
like i said, god knows.

I remember a similar hinge is used on metroplex to make his arm into a tower, but what about this one? I've not seen any mode where it's used and there isn't one on the other arm.
It's a leftover hinge from Metrople, but on the opposite arm and facing a different direction. Hhhhmmmmm...

That's because fortmax is built as metroplex facing backwards. Same with his crotch

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
No it was the other arm. The hinge is why that arm couldn't be detached.Cobotron wrote:Remember Metroplex came with his arm detached so he could fit in the box? Was it that arm that has the hinge?

Yup. Found in 2nd/special edition Transformers Generations (with the gold colored heading)Mook. That's kinda the Holy Grail of the Generations Mook series
And FM still retains Metroplex's forearms.

can't! the legs don't slide closed together with a Kabaya that they do with Generations Metroplex/TR Fort Max.
it would just look like a regular G1 battlestation/spaceship mode

I meant the new fort max or the metroplex mold
