I picked up Buzzsaw this weekend. I'm still forming an opinion. He's kinda dorky, like a goofy Real Gear toy. Just so happens I tend to like this kind of stupid. A lot! So things are going well.

Yeah, I saw 2 whole sets of the legends figures at my target last week, funnily enough, buzzsaw's stickers were already peeling off - big time - in the package, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the cassett-icons aren't going to be that great a quality

so! i take it that we've pretty much heard what's coming out this year in the TR range so far! apart from Astrotrain, Octane, Blitzwing, Apeface, Snapdragon ect.

Did I miss something? How do we know about blitzwing and thin tankor? I mean I can't see them doing blitzwing again as he's already in the correct scale to hang out with astrotrain

Astrotrain is the only one on there that has been confirmed by images. Blitzwing and Octane have not been rumors but only things brought up here as far as I know. And Will mentioned Apeface and Snapdragon, but we have nothing besides what Will said to go off of that

well....there's only really about a dozen or so characters that people will probably be wanting from what's going to.be released this year in terms of TR figures! & they are Scourge, Powermaster Prime, Blaster, Soundwave, Fort Max, Blur, Brainstorm, Skullcruncher, Hardhead, Chromedome & Astrotrain + give or take one or two others!

so....i think we've had far more characters/figures released with CW than what we seem to be getting with the TR range!

You must also remember: What has been revealed so far is basically a wave and a half to 2 waves of figures and CW had 6 waves plus the potential for 3 completely separate box sets, so TR is only just being introduced.

We haven't even seen everything there are other toy events this year for new reveals.

For the record, we know the entirety of titans return wave 1. Wave 2 will have chromedome, brainstorm, wierdwolf , mindwipe, alpha trion, astrotrain and Soundwave. That's all we are sure about for wave 2. Anything else will be in wave 3 which may or may not be released this calendar year in every region.

I understand your dislike for those who weren't headmasters such as Blurr and Scourge What about for the characters that were originally headmasters or haven't had an update since their first original toy or even those who have never had a toy before (Sentinel) are you not excited for them?


Plus there isn't that much more headmasters right now then there were in the original toyline so I don't think it qualifies as Over saturation just yet.

I kind of miss the built in Tech Spec Meter gimmick of this line. Of the originals HM, I only lack Decepticon Jr HM, Scorponok and Siren........the TechSpecMeter gimmick was quite unique back then that it's imprented on my neuro circuitry

I only have one Headmaster due to being a Unicron Trilogy kid which is Chromedome which I got at a second hand store the Headmaster gimmick with the tech specs was cool I'm excited for Titan Returns and am definitely getting Sentinel Prime since he is a Prime and Chromedome for nostalgia's sake.

Optimus Prime had almost every gimmick imaginable shoved on him in G1 but nobody complained. Bumblebee, Grimlock, and some other characters got Pretender toys. Why was it okay then but not okay now? With Combiner Wars, yes, I get that we got mold fatigue halfway through the year and the classic Autobot combiners felt like they were taking the place of traditional combiners, but we have no indication that Titans Return will not give us most or all of the traditional headmasters as well as the reimagined Titan Masters. There are a presumed six waves of figures, amounting to dozens of characters spread between the Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader classes, plus Fortress Maximus and Trypticon. There were 17 Headmasters, including Fort Max and Scorponok but not counting the Masterforce Headmaster Juniors. 19 if you include Goshooter and Minerva as separate releases, the rest of the HMJrs were identical on both sides of the pond. We've got plenty of room in this line for all of them as well as headmasters of previously non-Headmaster characters.

He's not a voyager, that was made quite explicit, especially since he is made to be very G1 and thus not be a triple changer which is what all voyagers are. Plus, Hasbro has made it quite clear that the original g1 headmasters which are getting toys, are all scaled to be deluxes.

You are right I am wrong - sorry about that I didn't mean to mislead anyone - I found a larger picture and was able to see detail I couldn't in the smaller images.

Anyway that said I did like CW Prowl so I expect I'd get some enjoyment from Chromedome - I hope those hinges on the back of his legs don't prove to be a problem though.

I wonder if the Vector Prime Hasbro just registered is for a Titans Returns remould of Sentinel Prime or Alpha Trion ?

Or are they going to do something surprising like reissue the old toy in a flash platinum box for $100.00 too.

I also wonder if the Omega Supreme is them getting in early for the baseformer toy after Trypticon or again representative of a reissue ?

Most likely this will be for Titans Return and not RID, because I don't think that if there'll be another Prime in the show he would get a role important enought to make a toy out of him. It would be like Alpha Trion in Transformers Prime, I guess. Or Micronus in RID right now.

Omega supreme will be a titan class so a brand new mold.

I wonder if this means that ole vector will be in the third part of prime wars? Along with maybe the remainder of the primes that so far have gone toyless
