The wait is a blessing for me. It'll give my wallet some breathing room while I pick up the rest of the Unite Warriors releases over this summer and the rest of the upcoming Masterpiece releases. Damn, it's a good time to be a Transformers fan! :)

The only thing I plan to buy before Titans Return is Combiner Wars Deluxe Groove. I definitely plan to get a lot of Titans Return figures. Definitely getting the Titanmasters, because they're cheap. The legends and deluxes are definite buys, mainly because I always buy the legends and deluxe class figures. Voyagers and Leaders are if I have enough cash when I see them. Fortress Maximus is definitely going to be something I ask my parents to get me for Christmas.

RiD is kinda... eh to me, especially since Prime's toyline was way better and jibed more with CHUG (I personally love displaying three vehicons with my CHUG 'cons), but I'm planning on getting Ratchet... and that's about it. It's a really hit and miss toyline due to going for an extremely different style than anything we're used to. ... plus the mini-cons are unfortunately kinda brickish

I agree on all points. Though for the minicons, I feel the new weapon ones coming out soon should be a big improvement as to them being of use to people's colelctions. And while the style is offputting, the decepticon designs are very original. I recomend Warrior Fracture to any TF collector who simply wants good transfomres toys in their collection. He is as good and as legit as any of the best mainline toys we have gotten in the past few years.

And sorry for discussing this outside the RID toyline thread. I just find that since everyone there is in agreement with the line, there isnt much debating. I like to promote that line as an option when people bring up the dry spell of tfs between wave 2 of CW 2016 and Wave 1 of Titans Return. The generations line might be in a drought but the TF brand as a whole is always releasing new products :)

Also yes the Prime Toyline was better. Some of those deluxes are the best deluxes we have ever gotten in TFs. Which shouldnt be too surprising since I really hope that we get better toys every year due to the technology getting better and designers aiming to be more innovative. Not always the case though. Of all the RID toys, Fracture is the one that reminded me most of the Prime Line and how good those first 2 years were (I still gush over First Edition Cliffjumper).

Oh true, and for people that like RiD it's certainly good. I just... don't really enjoy it that much. I've watched every episode, and I think it's a fine series - I could go into much more detail but this isn't the place - but it's not quite my thing. I tend to get toys that represent characters from series I love - hence why I'd get toys of CHUG, Beast Wars, Animated and Prime - and due to being so into TF some figures I just kinda like, get some figures I like the look of like some of the Cybertron line and Armada's Tidal Wave. From RiD so far I'd only really pick up Strongarm, Jetstorm, Slipstream, Thunderhoof and Ratchet since the former four are the characters I actually like while the latter weirdly seems to work better for CHUG Ratchet than anything we've ever gotten. Otherwise I'm not particularly fond of the whole "decepticons who randomly have animal parts on them" gimmick; it's a fine thing for a kid-aimed toyline to of course have, but I'm not the biggest fan. Probably the biggest reason you find so much agreement on the RiD toyline forum is because it's very hit and miss among the fandom, those who are for the idea generally get what they want while those who aren't for the idea just don't get there because... it's not for them.

... if they bring out Glowstrike and Saberhorn eventually tho I'd be so for those. C'mon, can't let Scorponok have all the glory outta that trio

Why would you want a Nautica made from Windblade? I honestly cannot see that working. She deserves her own mold.

I would far and away prefer a new mold, and it most likely would be. Besides, they would have to find room in that Windblade mold to make a cockpit for the titanmaster, and honestly it is easier at that point to make a new mold. Plus, she has proven herself to be an awesome original character and she is worthy of her own mold :MAXIMAL:

What if they were to retool Energon Thunderblast? Probably too small to be a Titanmaster though.

Naw. Nautica fully deserves a new mold. Besides, the Thunderblast mold to me might be a bit too big for her compared to the rest. And way too backpack heavy :MAXIMAL:

That back pack should always have been detachable (well it is ... if you pop the pin) and used as a weapons platform.

We need more "female" boats. So yeah, bring on a new mold for her.

Hasbro told Seibertron that it was definitely not deliberate inoder to gauge interest among the fandom. Hasbro is in no way happy about these leaks. They work really hard to make these events and presentations for the shows, wanting to present something new to fans. And they really feel these leaks diminish that and I believe they do too. Hence why I am glad people care less about the RID line, I get all my surprises there.

Fully agreed. The fact that that Z-multioplier had these images and was leaking them oh so slow was painful, especially since some of the characters aren't coming out until late this year or even next year in individual release Brainstorms case. Ruins the fun and makes for a hell of a lot longer wait :MAXIMAL:

These super early leaks are kind of knocking the wind out of my sails. It's to the point where I find myself looking the other way. It's an odd thing to say, I know. I mean, I like to get a jump on things, but this seems excessive.

It's like if you find out someone is planning a surprise party for you. It's really hard to fain excitement when the moment comes.

I guess the good news is, when the line finally drops, there will still be the excitement of the hunt.

I don't think it's am odd thing to say, it's perfectly reasonable. I would do it myself but I have no self control when it comes to spoilers, it's a big weakness of mine that I want to get rid of.

Would be interesting to see how everyone thought about this issue, not that there's a wrong or right way when it comes to leaks.

Meh, cw put the wind back in my sails, but now that its ending, they're gone again. RiD's got some okay stuff, but they're not doing the :CON:'s that I wanted from the show (not that I'm watching that annoying mess anymore), stoked for Scorponok, Astrotrain, Skullcruncher, and Wolfwire; that's 'bout all that I've got my sights set on - outside of some hts promotions.

As for the leaks, I enjoyed the piece-meal leaks, what I wasn't a big fan of was the weekly lists detailing everything we'll be getting for the next 2 years - that was too much =;
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

I really hate the leaks. I think the constant leaks are currently the worst thing about Titans Return. Zmultiplier is currently one of my least favorite people on the internet.

Does anyone else think it'd be a good idea from now on to start putting anything regarding leaks in spoilers? Cos I mean, that's what I'm gonna do due to how many people here have expressed their dislike in leaks, and it's not like it's news that came officially from Hasbro. Just seems fair...

This is a transformers news site though. There is a standard amount of traffic but only a handful of people are expressing their dislike of leaks. It wouldnt be fair for those that come here not to get the latest news in upcoming transformers, regardless of where it comes from. If we were only to use official reveals from hasbro, we would only get reveals every 4 months or so. I hope I dont sound inconsiderate but its a bit hard for a news site not to post the news. We do announce them as leaks so anyone who has a filter on their web can ask for it not to show headings called "leak". Or just know that when they read the title not to click.
If you have any news, rumours, or hot new sightings to report which you feel should be front paged,

Well yeah, but... it's not like there couldn't be another thread for discussing leaks so those who click on this thread and have avoided clicking on the news about leaks would have to hear about them.
But if that's not alright then it's cool, I won't keep arguing for it

Concerning the bios of the new headmasters. Pardon me if this was discussed already but has Hb released a fiction on them?

Will they be like the "Rebirth" HMs/TMs? The personality would be downloaded in their auxiliary memory box aka their techspec meter while the mobile exo skeletons are piloted by a separate being (human/nebulan).

Or the Marvel way, similar to Rebirth of sorts except the Nebulans are more earthlike

Or the Takara way where the body is inert and the actual "Blurr" is the mobile head?
