Makes it all the easier to recolor the art for Getaway, as he's a direct redeco of Chromedome. Head is new though, tho I can't tell if it's Stylor retooled. If it is, that would mean that's the third use of the little guy, after Blurr's Hyperfire and Chromedome's Stylor.

Is Fort Max hailing a cab or something in that picture?

Galvatrons intermediate mode is nothing other than slightly mistransforming his cannon mode.

Prime's feet seem to be mis-transformed or the new trailer changed something with the transformation. On Ultra Magnus the feet went under the truck not behind it.

I do love Hardhead though.

Well, since Metroplex's legs opened up, I image Fortress Maximus's will too. We'll have to wait until somebody gets Fort Max in hand, though, which is likely months from now.

Yeah it blows hard, and its nonsensical how they have the right plastic right there for Galvatron and preffer not to use it. Although for Blaster it works. The G1 reissues of the past use the same plastic hue and with red and orange it doesnt clash as much.

No need to wait, its been confirmed long ago in this very thread. But I dont mind repeating myself:

However, while it does open, keep in mind that its just because its a reuse of the same Metroplex part so there really isnt anything happening in there. It just opens and thats it. It is not intended to open, or designed with that functionality in mind, it just does because its the same part.

On a serious note, man, that Blur looks very impressive... I never did get the Generations version, so that may be one from this line I have to get.

Galvatron's lack of a completed head really bugs me. I think the rest of that figure is a win.

I also like the look of Triggerhappy. Both the bot and alt mode, and the head/face colors...
Just looks like a proper Decepticon imo.

I already have toy versions of those characters. Even if these are nicer (though Hot Rod is arguable) I can't justify getting them again.

My G1 version of Fort Max feels like it's more bang for the buck. You got all the little guns all over the place, the elevator, ramps that go down to the floor, a city mode that looks like a city mode, radar dish that spins, cockpit for the mini-headmaster, jail cell, push button ramp... and while it doesn't have UBER articulation, it moves enough for a 2 foot tall Transformer.

The new Fort Max feels like a step backwards. Just give me the headmaster, and take the rest.

Man, most of these look like absolute junk in those stock photos. Ok the little Titan Masters look like crap anyways but why does Powermaster Prime look so horribly cheap & nasty in that truck mode pic? I'd like to see Takara's attempt.

Fort Max still looks like a huge waste of plastic. He's just not a good looking character & his alt-modes have always been laughable. Same with Metroplex. Scorponok & Trypticon always had the better looking 'city' modes (though they always resembled some kinda temples or shrines in my opinion)

Still happy with my pre-orders for Takara's Blurr & Scourge though. They look good especially Blurr who just looks like a whole new level of awesome over the Hasbro version.

Still not impressed with Wolfwire. I was really looking forward to a new wolf Transformer but the alt-mode is just bad. Mainly cos of the really goofy legs and paw size.

Highbrow and Chromedome are kinda dull but good enough for the characters. I'll likely get Hardhead cos he was one of my fave TF toys as a kid.

Blaster looks worse and worse everytime I see him. Yeah ok he's probably mistransformed here but he's still pretty awful either way.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool! :)

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

i'm liking nearly all releases so far tho i'll have to see if taker's versions are more worth it or not...

my only reservations are hot rod as the generations versions still fits in well with the collection and fortress maxims due to price and already having metroplex
