But, more importantly, does this confirm that there will be a 5th wave of tr figures? I mean 1st wave of next year is o/p and megs, 2nd (I would presume) will be blitzy and octane. So will broadside be appearing alongside tidalwave, or will they split it up, like 2nd wave: blitzwing/broadside and 3rd wave: octane/ tidalwave![]()
If so, does that mean they will happen after the movie figures hit stores, or will they be competing for shelf space...

You and everyone else, make no mistake, it's a double strike-out for us fans, who also wanted a towering tidalwave...

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Nah, I think, if legit, Broadside/Tidal Wave will be Wave 2 2017. Gotta spread out the redecos to avoid mold fatigue, you know? Besides, there's no guarantee Blitzwing and Octane are even in the cards and design elements were in place "just in case".

Because sentinel and astrotrain weren't released back-to-back

But have we actually seen anything that even hints towards a listing for Blitzwing and Octane? Nope, just some molded details that for all we know could be the designers being cheeky

And it's mini-con interactivity.
Emerje wrote:Yeah, all I see in that head is Broadside, not Tidal Wave. As for why they'd do him first rather than as a pre-tool like Astrotrain, Octane, and Blitzwing is simple: They've had CHUG figures before, Broadside hasn't.
And I do want a new Sandstorm very badly. I didn't like the Generations one at all, mainly because I HATE that head sculpt, it's the only Generations Voyager I passed on. To me Sandstorm has a square head and mouth plate, perfectly suited for Titans Return. Whatever that Generations head sculpt was it wasn't Sandstorm.

It was a mix of the G1 cartoon incarnation with the mouth, and the IDW one with the helmet. I personally really liked the head. It was the lack of decent heels and a stupidly huge back-pack that made me pass on him. SInce we're getting a new Blitzwing, I don't see why we can't get a new Sandstorm and probably Springer. I do like my old Generations Springer best, but a new one would be great for a SillySpringer custom.

(not my pic)
Shared Engineering seems to be more and more ubiquitous in this line.

Looking back, Universe 2.0 and Classics also never released more than 2 Voyagers per wave. Hhhhhhuh. Interesting trend.
On this note, by the way, so far in Titans Return the Voyagers have followed a pattern of one Decepticon and one Autobot per wave - Sentinel/Galvatron, Astrotrain/Alpha Trion, Optimus/Megatron. If this trend continues it's very possible that Broadside would be put alongside either Blitzwing or Octane in Wave 4 rather than the latter two both being in the same wave. We could also then surmise, from rumours, that Wave 5 would be Vector Prime with either Octane or Blitzwing and Wave 6 would be Tidal Wave. There, boom. Entire Titans Return Voyager waves worked out barring some sort of surprise like CW Sky Lynx.
