Since Optimus and Megatron make up Wave 3, and it's obvious to all of us that Blitzwing and Octane are eventually coming; if this Broadside leak is true then it's very existence confirms that Titans Return has 5 waves at the very least.
Looking back, Universe 2.0 and Classics also never released more than 2 Voyagers per wave. Hhhhhhuh. Interesting trend.
On this note, by the way, so far in Titans Return the Voyagers have followed a pattern of one Decepticon and one Autobot per wave - Sentinel/Galvatron, Astrotrain/Alpha Trion, Optimus/Megatron. If this trend continues it's very possible that Broadside would be put alongside either Blitzwing or Octane in Wave 4 rather than the latter two both being in the same wave. We could also then surmise, from rumours, that Wave 5 would be Vector Prime with either Octane or Blitzwing and Wave 6 would be Tidal Wave. There, boom. Entire Titans Return Voyager waves worked out barring some sort of surprise like CW Sky Lynx.
Wave 1: Galvatron opposite Sentinal Prime
Wave 2: Astrotrain opposite Alpha Trion
Wave 3: Megatron opposite Optimus Prime
Speculation:
Wave 4: Blitzwing or Octane opposite Broadside or Vector Prime
Wave 5: other Wave 4 Decepticon opposite other Wave 4 Autobot
Wave 6: Tidal Wave opposite unknown Autobot (Leo Prime?)

They didn't re-use Rhinox, didn't re-use Whirl, didn't re-use Roadbuster, didn't re-use Sky-byte. Galvatron's very specific to... well, Galvatron, and I highly doubt they'd retool him into anyone else. Unless it's an extremely major one - which at that point may as well just be shared engineering - it won't look good as anyone else. I can very easily see them not re-using Galvatron.

Erm....they did reuse Sky-Byte
As Gelshark(granted it was just a repaint)
same with Whirl! coz Legends Whirl is just a redeco(repaint) of Generations Whirl

They were talking about distribution wave case assortments, not general character rivalries.Stuartmaximus wrote:Opposite of Metroplex.....Trypticon....and we're getting one

DeathReviews wrote:While the Springer mold is awesome, I wish Hasbro would make NEW awesome molds for these remakes of the g1 figures. They've proved they can do it when they take the time and effort. They've also proved they can run even a decent mold into the ground with constant repaints and remolds. We shall see what they've done this time out. Turning it into an aircraft carrier seems a bit of a reach...

Still, if I need a third mode for Galvatron, his vehicle mode (which I thought I'd detest) has been growing on me...

It bothered me that it wasn't pained and it really only gets in the way in robot and cannon modes. I also moved the little purple piece around 180 degrees for a different reason while I was at it. Once I removed it, the "handle" can be moved into a better position. It still isn't perfect though as it sits way to far forward and if you try to get it flush, it will push up on the cannon enough to move it past the locking point making the cannon angle slightly upwards. I also moved the leg panels down and around my wrist as a sort of bracing point. It just makes you wonder why they didn't add in a second set of hinges on the cockpit to make it flip backwards and connect to the bottom of the cannon along Galvatron's back. They even could've called it a gun mode as Galvatron's cannon is already safety orange. Unless there's other things that need to be done to make toy guns legal in the United States. It's not important in any way but it's something that could've been added in so easily but wasn't.

Sure this is the least likely character to get a toy but then again, Scrounge became a toy. Not to mention that these colors on Galvatron would be incredible. Flame from the UK Marvel comics.

I just don't really care for the other modes and he's not really a Transformer who even used other modes very much at all. I doubt I'd care if the toy couldn't transform at all.

It looks like he's retooled from both the Alpha Trion mold and the Astrotrain mold

Despite the better gun mode that I got out of removing that extra piece on the cannon, I decided to just remove the cockpit entirely. It still frictions into place quite nicely even without the pin if I ever want it back. Now that I removed the cockpit, I just use the spaceship mode as a flying cannon mode. The little purple piece that I had flipped around earlier now serves as a forward landing strut. It can sit flush on a flat surface if you adjust the arms and treads enough to make it flush. I would've left the cockpit on if it didn't interfere with the waist articulation. At first I took off the little purple panel but I felt that both alt modes suffered for it so I put it back on. Then I noticed that the purple panel would've been fine so long as the cockpit wasn't there too so that's when I decided to remove it instead.
I love Galvatron in general and I can't wait to get the Legends version as well. I have it paid for but it's sitting in my stack waiting for Computron and Blurr. But since Computron now says September instead of August, I'll probably wait for Weirdwolf too while hoping that a Scourge becomes available when they get their shipment in. Right now I have Galvatron flanked by the two Universe Galvatrons I had as drones in front of Galvatronus. Legends Galvatron will be flanked by two Challenge at Cybertron Galvatrons and Grand Galvatron behind them. Hasbro Galvatron will also have two Universe Cyclonus in the mix while the Takara Galvatron will have one RTS and one CaC Cyclonus in that mix. Once I have the spare money to get a second Universe Cyclonus, the Challenge set and then a second Challenge Galvatron that is. I haven't decided on what to do about Scourge yet. Maybe my two Generations Scourge with a Takara Scourge leading them and then two TR Scourge with a Legends Scourge leading them at the same time? I don't know how to deal with the two leading Scourge though or Cyclonus for that matter. I'm just glad that I really don't have the money for any Botcon Wings figures. Otherwise I'd also have two out of three of the Sweeps and the box set Scourge too.
Oh and while I'd love a voyager Straxus from the Galvatron mold, I'll add in a contender for an Autobot use of the mold. Sure this is the least likely character to get a toy but then again, Scrounge became a toy. Not to mention that these colors on Galvatron would be incredible. Flame from the UK Marvel comics.

People have been speculating that he'll be retooled into Cyclonus. I remember someone here said it waaay back, and now it's even on the wiki. I'm starting to see it myself.

Uhm, where on the wiki? Again, sharing parts should no longer be used as an indicator of retools IMHO.
Mr Skram wrote:Its mentioned under the TR Hot Rod entry. It's by no means official, just speculation. I could see it as a Blurr to Brainstorm type retool tho.
