I scored a Machine Wars Starscream last night at the comic shop for 5.00 w/ missles. I cleaned it up and it's beautiful.

I found Protectobot leader Hot Spot at my parents house thise past weekend in mint condition with all weapons and parts for Defensor! Now need to find the other 4 Blades, Groove, First-Aid and Streetwise.

I recently acquired a large lot of combiners, and I was amazed at how good Hot Spot actually was! I'd always only seen him as the baby blue firetruck with the crappy combiner limbs, but he's a seriously good TF in his own right! Definitely the best Scramble City combiner leader, IMHO.

Anyway, I received a very nice package today with lots more BW Neo goodness: BW Neo Sharpedge vs Hardhead, Mach Kick vs Archadis, Bighorn, Heinlad, Apache and Magmatron.

Got the slip to pick up my Headrobots Cobra figure in the mail last night, so I've picked him up from the post office this afternoon. Little guy reminds me of the Headmaster Warriors that I've read about, only the warriors don't sound as easy to come by as the 3rd party figure.

Also picked up a Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (space suit) figure, to display with some of my other figures.

Picked up RotF Mixmaster on sale at Tesco, not that bad for a Bayformer, although the arms are a little weird, not sure if I've got the kibble sitting just right yet. Definately prefer the 'shoulder pads' folded forwards to show off the large 'con emblems even if they do get in the way a bit. Havn't tried out the weapon mode, might have a fiddle with that tomorrow (am ill and tired and it's getting late here).

Got G1 Kickback and Bombshell at a local Comic convention for $10. They've got a little yellowing on the chrome and are missing their weapons, but otherwise they are in great shape--including the stickers. They actually go perfectly with my Shrapnel from my childhood who is in the exact same condition. They also made my temptation for the $35 TRU set go away, lol.

I have to agree photographs doesn't do any oddly proportioned figure any favors (Look at Energon Prime), and the vehicle mode doesn't hold together well, but I love him for what he manages to accomplish.

Wow, I thought I got lucky when I paid $13 for that set.

It's just one of those things. What happened, as much as I can guess, is when Kmart marked down the toy by 50% and placed it in the clearance aisle, they deducted $13 from the original retail price of $25, but still included another $5 deduction when the price dropped a few months ago.

It was a cool find for sure.

Seriously. The toy must have been sitting there for a year at this point. The top of the box was just caked in dust. Back in February there were six Megatrons marked down to $35. The other day they were marked down to $30. There are now 4 left, I think.

The only Jetfire I've found since the holidays is at the Kmart where I got the $6 War for the Skies 4pack. He's $50 there. Don't think I'll be able to get as good of a deal on him, but that's OK. I'll pick up Jetfire eventually.

^ Yeah, I think I'll only buy Jetfire if I see him for a super-sweet deal. Since he has no resemblance to his G1 self, and I don't like the bot mode, the only reason I want him is for the combination with Prime.

Picked up a 2nd MP Skywarp at 1/2 price at Wally World yesterday.

I just need a 2nd Thundercracker to have a full double set of MP seekers! One for display and one for MIB.


Woo, hoo! I also got Rotf Legends Wheelie in the mail when I got home!

For as lame as he was in the movie, this little bugger is quite nice!
I like to see the occasional monster truck in the line, and this one is pretty cool.

He has a bit of bot kibble on the back in truck mode, but since it is a legends, I can forgive that.

He's one of the movie-verse toys that will be staying when the rest get swapped out.
