Okay, so I sent back a broken Generations Armada Starscream to Hasbro, get back a Skids instead. That part I said already. Okay, so last Friday, I take Skids to Walmart to exchange for a Starscream... And when I open that Starscream, his head's attached wrong and can't turn. So yesterday, I go BACK to Walmart, and now I've finally got an unbroken Starscream again. I also picked up the Rescue Bots raptor Bumblebee (I'm calling it "Bumblebeast" and you can't stop me) and jet Blades (I imagine once the guy who's scared of heights winds up with three different alt-modes that all fly, he's gonna start wondering if they're doing it on purpose.)

Today, my Sky-Byte arrived from Hasbro Toy Shop.

Here is my haul over the last few days.

PRID Magnus - Don't know why I skipped out on him. He's great. Easy to play with. Cool character design. Transforming weapon. I have always been on the fence about Repro Labels. He came with these already applied. Kinda just sealed it for me. Only wish I could have put them on.

PRID Hot Shot - I remember holding him in the toy isle and debating for a long while, but never pulled the trigger. He's really cool though. I don't have any Bees from this line. Love this Deco. He has a classic car hood-for-chest and door wing design (another variation on the classic datsun design. hooray!) Best part? The flip down goggles. His shoulders are a little wonkie though.

These guys came loose and complete from a good buddy up Nort' that found a guy liquidating his collection for dirt cheap. Couldn't pass it up. Thanks pal.

Yeah, putting stickers on is fun. I cant wait to get mine from reprolabel to fix up my G1s (and movie Hound). They aren't too expensive, maybe you could fix yours up too (if they dont look as fresh and you plan to keep the toys). That would give you the chance to put some stickers.

That Magnus looks AMAZING!!!!!!! Way better than what I got from Takara (something you dont hear everyday), and even without reprolabels. But the reprolabels really give it that added umph! I have a Classics Hotrod that needs some help and I really want the set for Alternators Jazz. As soon as the Holidays blow over. I'm gonna go Repro Mad.

And it's awesome that Hotshot's goggles flip down. Although I think the design is more based on the movie bumblebee design than the classic Datsun. But then again the movie design is inspired partly by classic transformer designs so maybe this is simply a design coming full circle.

I should have specified that his transformation is reminiscent of the Datsun, but now that I think of it, it's more akin to Jazz. If you consider the legs. I love it when a newer toy's engineering uses some inspiration from the old. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Visually the Hot Shot/Bee mold is totally movie inspired. Especially the alt mode. I'll have to get out the only Movie Bee I have and see what his engineering is like. I can't remember.

Just picked up MP BB and Windblade. BB's forearms were switched around (shoddy QC) but it was a simple matter of switching them back.

And then, there's Windblade. I wanted to get Arcee and Chromia too, but they were sold out...as expected.

All non deluxe (or higher tier TFs) were half price at Walmart, so I went to Target for the price match. Got a bunch of constructbots for my cousins and Skrapnel and reflector for me. These 5 cost me 27$cdn all together.

Not a haul but just my thoughts on Platinum Predaking.

The thing was unexpectedly HUGE and heavy! The beast modes are awesome and the robot modes are adorably dorky. All that diecast was surprizing and once the labels are applied, he look premium as fawk.

I love the solid combined mode. However, Predaking suffuer from all that diecast and heavyness. The arms are hard to pose and the main body is slouching a solid 10° down from the arms weight. Well, I took that flaw to my advantage by placing him on my top shelf. Predaking is looking down at me menacingly!

Like I said when I got him. He is beautiful in all his imperfections.

Then I remembered some Jedi action figures that had a similar articulation.
