cobs was asking me whats wrong with legends gears. sooo... here it is!

the package art is totally G1 gears. now, which of those two looks like gears, and which one looks like brawn? dont get me wrong the mold is a tonne of fun, but that head sculpt is totally brawn. i bought legends gears because why not, but igear cogz is still going to be gears on my shelf.

Just made my Christmas order. Getting ManiaKing for some Galvatrony goodness, Armored Knight Optimus Prime, the Grimlock FOC upgrade kit from Iron Factory, and Brainstorm.

Was holding out for Arcee but I'll just have to put her in my Combiner Wars order.

At the end of last month I took a quick browse through Ebay seller lena81822 store to see if I could catch a quick bargain depending on what was there.

Having just been paid and feeling like purchasing something a little different to my usual hauls, knowing he had recently appeared in the IDW comics I managed to bag Generations Rattrap!

Now this is quite out of character for me as I have no connection to the Beast Wars era of Transformers, never liked what I saw so never bothered with any of it. >:oP

He arrived the other day but I have just got round to transforming him, bit of a struggle at first (no instruction booklet) but found a few YouTube reviews which showed me how.. but wait!

The colours where all wrong, I thought. Doing a quick search on BBTS it appears I am the owner of Takara Tomy Legends LG01 Rattle! At only £9 with free delivery (approx $13?) this is my first Legends version and at a bargain price too!

That is amazing! I can attest to Lena's quality. I have been deaing with that seller for a while and the factory rejects are usually due to a slight deco mistake (the name on the MP Lambor stickers that came with the TF Exclusive is Tigertrack in error) or other small defect (screw hole in MP Megatron is too wide). But it's never a deal breaker and has always been worth it so far. They always feel just as fine as regular stock. Oh and I am also hoping to get that Cloud Shockwave. It would be my first version of the mold, is it any good?

thanks for the heads up on lena! it puts my mind at ease.

whirl... well... the knee joints are kind of a nightmare. i heard stories about people snapping his knee joints off because of how freakishly tight they are, then i got generations whirl for myself. and yeah. terrifying. so much so that i didnt even attempt to transform him. i even grabbed him yesterday to see if i could disassemble the legs and shave down those joints, but they seem to be held in with pins. im hoping the takara versions are looser, but even if theyre not im still happy to have them at lena's prices

Lenas stuff can be hit or miss as mentioned but overall is pretty darn good for the price, so I cant complain as I have not had any problems.

Rattle/Rattrap is in excellent condition and complete (no packaging or instructions though) but I hadnt a clue how to transform him.
Went on YouTube to check reviews for transformation which was hit and miss. Why cant the 'big' reviewers (you know the ones

) just slow things down a little when it comes to transforming?
Are they in constant competition with each other to proove who can do it best and fastest?

Rattle/Rattrap seemed a little stiff around the ball jointed arms so I was a little worried to begin with, but no problems at all really!

I emailed Lena yesterday in regards to the distict lack of ANY Transformers in their Ebay shop? Reply came back today saying they are trying to get more Rattrap figures in but couldnt confirm when but to keep an eye out for new listings.
Thought their 'sources' might have been fired/smelted! :lol:

Lena has plenty of stuff but the new listings no longer appear on the google chrome browser (under the default settings). So just log into e-bay on explorer and they will appear.

That is so weird. Im using Firefox and its the same, but as you said IE displays everything fine?
Why is this happening? Is there a hidden preference option I need to adjust? :-?

I guess it makes them money when folk list offering worldwide shipping yet the listing cant be seen worldwide on certain/most browsers! :BANG_HEAD:

On topic: Recently bought Generations Voyager Whirl via Kapow Toys, still sitting there waiting to be opened, yet just scored a complete loose version via Lena on Ebay for £8 with free delivery! :shock:
