Quick shout-out to Kapow Toys, I just got my Platinum Autobot Intel Ops set! It's too beautiful to open yet but It's a very pleasing slab of cardboard to admire while I wait for my camera gubbins to turn up!
Edited to say, 'You get the idea'. I'd like to thank Kapow Toys and Mrs O!

By MP-04, you mean the official MP-01 with his trailer, right? I have the MP-01 Last Shot and a KO trailer (the trailer still cost 120$!). You'll see how MP-10 will stack up with the original.
IMO, MP-10 is the superior one. Better accuracy, better engeneering, better truck mode. Still, MP-01 is a precious part of my collection for his imposing size and his MASSIVE ammount of diecast.
Yes, you are correct. I do mean the official "Perfect Edition" w/ aforementioned Trailer / Combat Deck (but, no Roller). Mine was the 2009 reissue.
In regards to this Convoy / Prime... I've got to say, this MP is much better than the still great, yet older Masterpiece MP-4 "Perfect Edition", in almost every way. I actually prefer there being less diecast to scratch up. The weight of this MP-10 is better on my failing wrists. I remember that I actually paid a grossly overpriced $500(US) for MP-4, from the local shop, back in 2009. It was very proudly displayed for 6 years thereafter, until money got extremely scarce and I sold it, perhaps 3 months ago. Then THIS one showed up at the local shop just the other day and I just had to grab it, as money isn't anywhere near as scarce as before. Pricey for me, sure. But it's worth it, as long as I watch myself and my money for the rest of the month. My only complaint with this version is just some basic QC stuff. His feet are so loose at the heal that he fell off the top of a high table and was poised to crash on pure concrete, right after I took a pic and posted it to this thread. I don't know what, or how. But my left hand caught it, and there was thankfully zero damage done. Shweew! It could've been a totally vicious disaster.

Woah! That's a close call!
Too bad you had to sell your MP-04. Hope you got a decent price for it. Still, try to get back a MP-01. There's plenty of verions of him floating around for cheap thanks to MP-10. He's too legendary not to have in a OP collection.

Thanks Kanrabat! I cannot imagine how utterly horrified I would have felt, had my brand-new MP-10 Prime shattered like glass!
Yeah, I sold my old MP-4 to a good friend, for his toy shop, at around $150. He's still got it for sale, now for $300. It seems that many customers really want it, but can't / won't buy it just so easily.
BTW, did you get CW Magnus? And if so, are his hands no good for holding his guns? My copy simply refuses to co-operate with his weapons and he always, and I mean Always, drops them like a pacifist. Meaning, that any attempt by Magnus to enforce The Tyrest Accord without his guns, or hammer, will most likely end in complete failure.

No CW Magnus yet. I pre-ordered the Takara version at Amiami.
I heard that for Magnus to hold his guns, you have to TAB the guns somewhere inside the palms of his hands.

Just wanted to post a mini haul.

Rodster has got that lovely swirly-ish mettalic maroon plastic that a few of us are into.
I think I may have come up with a way to mod the axe to hang from his back. I'll have to summon the nerve to take a knife to it later.

Nice!! I really like Leader TC. Hoping someone who makes Leader Jetfire hole-plugger kits will make one for him too (and SkyWarp and StarScream).

Cary! Nice find! Was Skywarp there to or are you passing on the Legends Seekers?carytheone wrote:Just wanted to post a mini haul.

I thought that to, but white plastic can make things so glaringly obvious, and Jetfire shouted it from the mountain tops. Thundercracker isn't just blue, he's a pretty dark blue. It doesn't show as much on him. I'm quite satisfied and can live with the gaps.jay5 wrote:Nice!! I really like Leader TC. Re: Transformers Toy haul thread
Skywarp was in fact on the same peg at one of our Targets; skipped Skywarp for today. I have TC, but foolishly skipped Screamer. I have the dollar store version currently hanging with TC. I saw Warpath at the local TRU, skipped him as well.shajaki wrote:Cary! Nice find! Was Skywarp there to or are you passing on the Legends Seekers?
One of the other Red Stick residents alerted us of Rodimus and Skywarp, so I hurried over there to pick him up. They saw Groove earlier in the week, but I was working out of town and missed out for now. He was my primary target of todays hunt, with Rodimus running second.
Here is Rodimus after I took an xacto knife to him.

Transformation works fine, I just have to be careful when inserting the wing into car mode. Its easy to gues what I did here, but will post some close ups on my collection thread.

Jaki- Nice! Nothin soothes the sting of not cool stuff, like really cool things.
J- let us know when that Superion arrives. If we don't hear from you for a while, we'll come check on you.
You got some SCRAMBLING to do!
Ct1- Fantastic craftsmanship!
Can't wait to see how you did that.

Yeah, that Bee is a monstrosity. And that folded down chest is really odd. Still look fun with all his gimmicks.
For me the defenitive BIG "MP" Bumblebee is the Battle Ops GOLD version. Got mine a few years ago for around 70 or 90$ shipped, brand new. Now, he's being sold for some crazy prices!

I picked up Offroad today on a whim. Not sure why, he'll never be a part of Menasor, unless I can find a way to attach him to his back or something. And now I must pick up Alpha Bravo, just so the Aerialbots and Stunticons can be even.

Cool, cool, is this your first time with the mold? What do you think of the guy?
I like having the extra team members. Gives a little variety during play, it's also nice to have a sub when limbs get ripped off during fights.

I like the color scheme. I haven't opened the figure yet, I'm waiting until I have all of them and open them all at once. The Aerialbots have been sitting on a shelf in their boxes for about 2 months now.carytheone wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I picked up Offroad today on a whim. Was at montreal comiccon today (tf news coming soon), and I found this pretty crazy deal. It was a ziplol bag that contained a complete ROTF Skystalker and Mindwipe with instructions for... 15$ cdn (11.90 $ US). I did not expect finding a deal like this, ever.

A little early bird haul to get your mornings started off right. In an amazing turn of events, I was able to take advantage of that 15% off using the cartwheel app. I'm glad I held off on Warpath last week.

Apparently, Swerve is very excited to have some robit company. Be careful buddy, that one's very sharp.
