Got my G2 Menasor from HTS and it came with a nice surprise in the form of a CW Smokescreen figure.

Got this guy in the mail today.



It's my second ever Prime figure. The first was Cliffjumper, and he sucked freshly humped goat balls. Wheeljack, though, is pretty awesome. Which is good, as I only bought him because Willy J kept telling me how awesome he was. Plus, I've been watching the show on Netflix with my little boys, so I'm starting to care about the characters. That always leads to buying toys of them. Any recommendations?

Well Wheeljack is a great jumping off point and was pretty much the figure that got me in the game.

Well he needs someone to fight and the regular deluxe vehicon is a great figure.

Either Voyager Bulkhead is nice and each has its own strengths and weaknesses.

Just about all the first editions are sweet. I really like the FE Arcee and Starscream.

Be warned that the Prime figures are like potato chips.

I will totally stand by that list. I forgot about that UM; has a really awesome profile and deco. Lots of fun posing options.

And unlike the other Optimus/Ultra Magnus molds of that size, its the only one that actually has the windshield become the chest. The rest had fake chest pieces.

That mold has one hell of a transformation, a little on the tricky side to boot. I feel the bot mode is a little weak in possibility, but still worth owning at least one version of. It also has one damm sleek and sexy alt mode.

Yeah, the transformation is pretty tricky, but that never stopped me. And it certainly could use some articulation (like wrist swivels and ankle tilts). And yes, that alt-mode is definitely nice.

I'd recommend the voyager versions of Skyquake or Dreadwing. I got Dread and he's pretty sweet, however my opinion is probably influenced by how I thought he was awesome in the show.

AM Arcee is near perfect, right base color just needs paint or to use the included decals. otherwise PRID Arcee is a gem of a toy. The Vehicon is one of the best figures I've seen in a long time so thats a must have as well, best of all, you can troop build him.

Well, Bulkhead is a must buy, maybe even two, as my sons both love the character. As for the rest, I think I'll take some time looking at galleries. I'm just so totally amazed at how awesome Wheeljack is for such a regular release. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I know, its nuts to think that he was just a deluxe on the shelves. I feel that way for Animated Rodimus as well and First Edition prime Cliffjumper.

I had a good week! I found a Blizzardy Drift, nabbed a G2 Menasor, and with Renderform gave me kickass Thunderclash and proper gun for my UW Menasor.
