A couple months ago, the mailman straight up threw a box over my fence onto my back porch. I know he didn't open the gate cause it can't be opened from the outside. Hell it can barely be opened from the inside :lol:

I don't remember, but no nothing was damaged.

I was kinda left mad and happy at the same time. On one hand it was careless and I coulda ended up with broken toys. On the other hand, it saved me an extra trip to the post office. I just shrugged and giggled :lol:

The discount. Scourge was about €14,- and Warpath was €6,-. Stores here sell them for €22,- and €15 respectively. So they kinda made up for shipping costs

Hahaha, I need to call it quits for a good while. But I will be keeping an eye on the new waves of Titans Return. With Wilfwire I'll have 3 cons vs 2 bots, so I'll need at least 1 cool Titanmaster bot. I like Brainstorm and Highbrow, and Chromedome, but I own those 3 in the G1 version. I'd happily trade them 1:1 though. Maybe if I find someone who'd pay €25,- or more a piece for them (100% complete), I'd buy the newe versions. (Maybe G1's are even worth more, I have no idea).

After we've moved and settled in, and I've insulated the garage, and finish my gameroom, I'll take some good pics of my entire collection, and post some for sale, just to see what I can get for them.
I'd take the new versions over the G1's anytime. In retrospect, most of those were pretty bad :-$

I think I found an excellent ebay seller for Liokaiser if anyone is interested. I ordered it Tuesday (about $114 shipped) from a Taiwan seller and it arrived today! I was totally expecting another week or so. The set is actually quite amazing. Now I don't have any connection to the Japanese G1 continuity, so I am just enjoying these for what they are, a pretty cool decepticon combiner. The paint jobs are excellent with very nice tampos similar to the Walgreens Brainstorm mold. But the 4 new headsculpts really make this set worth the Platinum status. Hell/Fellbat's ears and Kill/Ironbison's and Drillhorn's horns fold into the heads to get out of the way for vehicle mode. I highly recommend this set to anyone who doesn't mind the deviations made from the orignal.

Got my hands on Brainstorm from Walgreens. The exclusive version to the store.

It worked out because I needed to get my medications filled and went in to look to see Brainstorm there.

Kanrabat and I worked out a deal with 3 different figures that are coming. One is a Megatron yes.

I'll post a picture when it gets here actually.

Also found a cheapy eBay auction offering the Alt-Modes Megatron that I wanted from that set for a new desktop toy basically.

So this is a good "birthday haul" as I turn 32 later this month.

He's unfortunately Walgreens-exclusive. He is also available in the SDCC-exclusive 3-pack in IDW comics-accurate colours though.

What it means is that the retail version of Brainstorm is only available at Walgreens in the US. It is unknown if he will be carried by someone else in Europe, it might differ from country to country.

Now, if only the US gets him (which I would find really really odd), you can still get the takara version of this mold. I think thats the route Kurona went to make sure she gets the toy.

My route is currently defined as "looking between the Takara version and the slightly reduced SDCC set with tears in her eyes born of not knowing what to do"
