Which store did you find it at? I may have an opportunity to stop some places tomorrow, and I have enough money to get either A3 or Astrotrain.Cobotron wrote:Just like Shajaki's trip out to pick up some coffee creamer and falling bass ackwards into wave 2 Voyagers. I saw A3 at one Target, but already had him, and saw this A-Train at a different Target. Haven't seen them at any other retailers yet.Autobot N wrote:Which store did you find it at? I may have an opportunity to stop some places tomorrow, and I have enough money to get either A3 or Astrotrain.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

I'm becoming the minority on this, but I absolutely love A3. Just on that badarse old viking king robot mode alone. I haven't opened AstroT yet but Sentinel is a ton of fun.Autobot N wrote:Hmm.Cobotron wrote:I saw A3 at one Target, but already had him, and saw this A-Train at a different Target. Also, which would you say is better?

It'll be a pretty tough decision. On one hand, SP/Astrotrain is an awesome mold, and Astrotrain is one of my favoriteCobotron wrote:I'm becoming the minority on this, but I absolutely love A3. It's a tough one N. You're gonna just have to make a "game time" decision.

Emerje
Fortmax sold out? Or they got their stocks late.......maybe.

I also beg to differ.
Scourge is way better than highbrow. His head isn't nearly as loose and wobbly as highbrows. Skullcruncher is one of the best deluxes IMHO. Once you fix the legs he's even more awesome.
I don't like highbrow because of the head and the propellers break so easily.
I have to buy another highbrow because the stupid propellor broke.
Let Hasbro know, they will send you a replacement figure when they get more stock in. Hopefully wave 3

No doubt about it.Kurona wrote:I don't care what anyone says, that Astrotrain looks friggin' great.

First, and probably last time I'll deal with people on Facebook groups.

How is he? I saw him on display at a convention over the summer and he looked terrific in person. I want an Optimus to match up with CW leader Megs.

I do like Astrotrain, and I guess if I keep him, I'll just pretend that he no longer has three modes, it only turns into a shuttle. I plan on never, ever transforming him into a train.

But dont you find the transformation into a tain fun in itself?

What, hold his arms out, make him do the splits? No, not really. A very simple figure for all the fuss made about it.

I say the same about Leader Megs and most give me crap (except for you, thanks for that). About Astrotrain, yes it is a simple transformation and it is a simple figure. But I do find it fun. I find the idea of playing with symetry fun with that toy, where it keeps changing it's axis of symetry as you go through the modes. And like I previously wrote, its fun for me to see an old concept brought back. However, that concept was from a simpler time so I can see how it would make a simple figure for today's standards. But then again, most figures are very simple in comparison to what was coming out in 2008-2012. While I love Blurr's mold, he doesnt come close to the engineering found on WFC Optimus Prime or First Edition Cliffjumper.
