Bendy Prime is nice, but I don't like his detachable smokestacks. Unfortunately, all my shelf space dedicated to Armada is busy with the TOWER OF DOOM so Bendy is buried in storage.

The good thing about the smoke stacks is they would have been painted if they were molded on. He's a better looking figure for having them detachable. Plus they're a whole lot better than the stacks on the larger figure and they look like believable weapons which is better than depending on Over-run alone.

Got the G1 Insections, awesome, except the stickers keep peeling off which sucks. Kickback's stickers are fine though.

Got Mindwipe, disappointingly horrible.

You mean the G1 Insecticons Platinum reissue, right? Got mine on clearance for just 55$CAN + taxes a while back. It's true that their stickers are very hard to apply due to their lack of adherance. But with patience, it's very worth it at the end. They go especially well with the Platinum Coneheads.

Finally picked up TR Skullcruncher after passing on him for about a month. I guess it's the completionist in me.

Don't forget your Wipe and Shine for the loose thighs mi hermano!

Gah the thighs! He barely stands up. I have to balance him just right with all his gator (or croc?) kibble on. I have all my TR figures in robot mode, but I might keep this one in gator mode (or is it croc mode?) I don't think I've ever before had a figure with thighs this bad!

You like him?

Other than the thighs, it's a pretty cool figure. I especially like the green and pink, for some reason they pop real good for me. Gonna hunt for Weirdwolf and Mindwipe now. Still gotta get Domey and Highbrow as well.

Also, the Walmart I work at has tons of Galvatrons and Sentinels. I wanted to get a Sentinel, but I wanted to read the TR comics from IDW 1st to see what kind of character he is and if he is worth the figure. Does the figure have any problems?

None I can think of. It could use some more paint though. I personally preffer the Astrotrain version of the mold.

As for me, my random trip to Winners was worth it.



Found myself a CW Smokescreen at 10$CAN! Because I have this mold a bajillion times and I don't have anyone to combine it with, it will go in my sealed-on-card collection. BTW, if you happen to be in the Laval area, the Winners near Centre Laval have a few CW Trailbreaker (3), Wheeljack (3), Somekescreen (1) and Sunstreaker (1). You just have to know where to look. All are 10$CAn + taxes. Happy hunting!

Also, got a Equestria Girl doll. Yes, I collect those too. Indigo Zap is nice and sexy, but not 20-30$ nice and sexy. However, I can't pass her up at 10$CAN.

Kickback and Shrapnel look so much better with stickers and I also had no idea those yellow lines on Shrapnels back in the cartoon were toy accurate until now. Wish I could get the coneheads, I love the G1 toys. I had no idea how much I'd liked them. I really want more!

Took advantage of Target AU's pricing screw up and got Weirdwolf (again, I know that's not his name, I.DO.NOT.CARE.) and Mindwipe for $15AU (normally $29AU). They put the wrong prices into the catalogue and are honouring their screw up.

Well, here we go again. Thanks to the last Combiner Wars droplets that get nuked on clearance, my friend want one more combiner. So he bought this:



One wheeljack that is not show will be kept as is. The one here will have the set of reprolabels applied to him to turn into the "smokycon". This Trailbreaker will be customised by me into Hoist. Paint and random tow-truck toy included to be used for this purpose. Motormaster will change colors and heads to become an original character. and finally, the big cheapo truck below will have only the traler car-carrier frame used to become compatible with a Combiner Wars truck. The rest of the toy will be given to charity.

All that work will be paid and here's what I earn:

I know, my sallary is quite low but it will be fun to do and he scratched my back so many times that I have to return the favor. It will take time, especially because I have some reprolabels that will need to be applied, but it will be oh so worth it.

At my Target the Legends and Deluxes are the same price. ($15) Which is a hell of a bargain. I wanna quickly nab some Wave 2 Deluxes and Legends before the sale ends.

Yeah because they mixed the prices up in the catalogue. The Deluxes were meant to be $20 but that price was applied to the RID one-step changers. When they realised the error they were left with no choice but to honour the pricing for the deluxes whilst lowering the one-step changers to their correct pricing.

It's been a while since I last bought Transformers, but I'm blaming that on distractions and the fact CW toys were... shall we say less than perfect in the QC department. I'm still willing to try some, Hot Spot was really alluring. I just may with Computron

Laserbeak is an experiment, and I like him. The tablet mode is the best one, and overall he's kind of an upgrade from Real Gear Robots Booster X10, which I own.
Power Surge Optimus Prime is great, no doubt about it. Truthfully, the wing swords won me over, I love winged silhouettes I went with the regular red and blue instead of the white, because I think it looks better. The only thing missing is a big sword, like the bigger toy has. Anybody know of a good substitute?

A surprise thrift store haul. for only 5$CAN plus taxes I got a trio of ROTF deluxes. All bots are 100% complete and unbroken! I have satellite Soundwave (no missile) Chromis (no platform thing) and Breakaway. I already have those 3, but for that cheap, why should I pass them up?

Legends Fortress Maximus finally arrived today!

And last Friday I finally found Brainstorm while out of town. Wasn't planed, just happened to drive by a Walgreens so I turned around and there he was! Now I just need Highbrow to complete the original Headmasters.
