I got the Bee version from that set that came out around the second movie with the animated Bee and the Movie Bee. Really like it. And I needed him for when SG Prime gets here!

Look what Voyager I found (and bought) at Walmart today!

I will make sure to keep the receipt this time.

Anyways, this toy has great engineering which is why it pains me so much that they went all cheap with his qc. So much pegging relies on pressure or friction and for a symetrical toy, the two sides act so differently, its riving me a bit nuts. Love that airplane mode though, very smart how they actually gave him landing gear. I also wish that turret would peg in somewhere in any mode (if it does, let me know!)

I've combined my BC O/P with Aplha Bravo, OffRoad, Rook and Smokescreen yesterdaynight. Pretty nice to have a new Hasbro exclusive combiner

What to call him though... Battle Core Grand Prime? There's got to be something cleverer?

Next up is to place Offroad on Grand Galvatron, so he's all Con.
Then place Roller on Grand Prime, he is after all Prime's trailer buddy.
Then put Smokescreen on Lynxmaster. (Hasbro configuration)
And finally Prowl and Ratchet on BCGP, along with Alpha Bravo and Rook. All-white Autobot combiner!

I hope I have time this weekend to play around with them and take some pictures. :DANCE:

this whole lack of soundwave sightings is really odd because we know Hasbro shipped them all to retailers a long time ago. When the deluxes finally reach saturation I would have guessed that Soundwave would be there too. What sucks of this is that he is a year end toy. These same stores are getting their shipments of Sixshot either this month or the next and retailers tend to favour newer items. So Soundwave could go the way other toys have and end up being sold off to discount retailers like Marshalls or Ross. I dont mean to spoke fear here, just trying to understand what is going on. The entire distribution for the leader class is super weird. Are the wave 1 TR leaders well stocked anywhere in the US? There are tons of them here in Canada.

walmart has the leaders. they only get one or two cases at a time

tru always had leaders. they had about ten cases about halfway up to the ceiling one time. still unopened.

target had an overstock of skywarps. one still had armada megatron and they stopped carrying leaders after that. they are now just starting to get wave 1

the deluxes still havent reached saturation for wave 2. that only happened at walgreens and that one time one case thing at walmart/target. but tru just got wave 2 deluxes with an overstock of wave 1 still.

I can only speak to the NYC area. Wave 1 deluxes have reached over-saturation, but not wave 2. What I mean is you will have no issue getting any deluxe figure from wave 1, but wave 2 will require a little more work. Wave 1 leaders and wave 2 legends have reached saturation as well. Based on what I see on the forums and from friends, it's a little better in NJ and Long Island. I don't expect to see SixShot or wave 3 deluxes in stores anytime soon near me.

For $45, I couldn't say no to the Dinobots Platinum collection.

I think Ross Dress 4 Less is my bff. They also had Skywarp(s) at $20.

I was actually hunting for wave3 but stopped by here for no good reason except I love the hunt....and big discounts.

i got the platinum dinobots from ross for 44.99.
my dad got it for me bc of progress report and allowance.
havent opened it.

NICE!

They look pretty good, with the G1 aesthetics, despite being the Age of Extinction incarnations of the Dinobots - I dig Swoop (Strafe?!) and Snarl, especially. My least fave is probably Grimlock lol - but he's got the right face.

Saturation, what's that? I don't understand these foreign Canadian words you speak. One of the local Walmarts only just got Deluxe wave 2 in, nobody has restocked Titan Masters in at least a month (still haven't found Clobber and Skytread yet), everywhere is packed with just Galvatron for Voyagers, and I've yet to see more than two Leaders at the same time, but I usually don't see any.

I don't know if you remember me posting a pic of an unopened box of TMs sitting on the top shelf at a Walmart. I have no idea what happened to those since the box is now gone and there's still nothing on the shelf. :roll:

I'll fiddle with them a bit more tonight and post impressions/pics! I never had all the G1 dinos back in the day (only Sludge and Grimlock!), with my younger brother eventually getting G2 Slag and Snarl....but we never had any Swoop.

This may be as close as I ever get. As cool as the Dinobots were, they somewhat annoyed me as a kid since they always were rebelling against Prime & the Autobots due to being dimwits. :SG-CONS:
