It is my first time with them. I haven't messed with Senty yet, but DAMN Starscream is a thing of beauty. Due to my goals of MP completion, I have MPM Screamer on my list already. But a phenomenally good deal on this one (25 CAD missing missiles) and realizing that while he's not the prettiest version, he IS screen accurate to ROTF (what with the tats and all). So I figured both were worth having. I've always had a soft spot for Movie SS (probably my favorite Bayformer) but this figure might be the most satisfying TF I've played with since MP Hotrod. I am head over heels, and MPM SS has been pushed to the top of the hunt list-Kanrabat- wrote:Shajaki, is that your first time with the DOTM Leader Sentinel Prime and HFTD Leader Starscream?

I knew you'd like him. For me, it's a FAR superior to even MP-11. Both in looks AND playability / quality.
I wonder if the (for real?) MPM Starscream ever come out, would it be just a repaint of the HFTD leader, or an entirely new mold?

the first is from Carytheone, and the purchase was based on Will's top 10 animated figures and then seeing some images of Blurr posted by Va'al. Mention of wanting one led to Cary selling me these 3 fellas, and I love them. Ironhide is my favorite of the bunch at the moment

And then from out west came a package from o.supreme, bearing the Chaos on Velocitron set at last! I will post more about it in the Titans Return thread, but Nautica is cool and Quickswitch is much better than Sixshot

Sorry to confuse you Kan, MPM Starscream isn't new. The first (new) MPM coming out is Bumblebee (MPM-3). The line started years ago just as really nice repaints of Leader figures, MPM-1 being Leader Starscream and MPM-2 being Leader Bumblebee. After lying dormant so long I don't think anyone expected the MPM line to jump back to life like it has recently (not to mention follow the original numbering).-Kanrabat- wrote:I wonder if the (for real?) This here is the SS I was referring to

As for That Movie "MP" Starscream, I know about it. I'd want it but it's WAY too expensive for just a slight deco difference...

I wouldn't consider the differences between Leader SS and MPM-1 to be slight. Nor would I say the same about your Pinkscream. What I would consider slight are things like, TR Skullsmasher and LG Skull-Kanrabat- wrote:Eh...
Funny you mention Mandarake... they had a couple MPM-1's for a while, and immediately after handling Leaderscream I went there looking for his sexier counterpart. But they musta sold em. It'll be a tough wait

I'm really digging Stormshot. His backpack and legs are quite nice with his arms really integrating very well into the altmode. Loving his dope-ass pistol
Rugburn Chase is just as neat as his sorta fellow throttlebot and mold-mate Bee.

Yeah I have my AoE one I very slightly customised and waiting for this TLK one to be in a price-reduced sale here.

It's my holy grail to find at a car boot sale or in a charity shop. I'm not a rich person and keep getting vastly outbid on eBay when I try fight for one.

I went toy hunting all afternoon for naught. TrU's aisles are bare and the few crumbs left are the same old stuff. Rescue bots were on sale but all they had was non transforming action figures or GIANT ASS bots. I don't have that space for Rescue Bots. Nothing at Walmart nor Winners.
Only place left was the ULTRA POSH and EXPENSIVE La Baie. I skipped on Wheelie at the beginning of Titan Return so I decided to grab him in case I was missing out. Yes, despite the 15$CAN price total. I wanted to have at least something today.
Sigh...
Wheelie look nice in bot and car mode and the Titan Master compatibility is appreciated. But that vehicle mode is all "squishy". Meaning the whole thing barely hold itself together and just a bit of manipulation undo everything. Wheelie is not total crap, but he's totally disappointing. Especially at that price.
Maybe Brawn spoiled me.

Dude held it for me and now I have the set. So awesome. Been thinking about buying one for over twice the price but that would have been my fun budget for a few months. Been looking for one since release, and the only one I found was literally picked up in front of me as I walked down the toy aisle.
My day has been made.

I went to a HUGE open air flea market and scored me some transformers at a great price and some other stuff.

Got some junkers. DOTM Optimus prime, who miss his gaz tanks, ROTF dirge, who miss his chest plate, AoE Slug, who miss his bot head, and some random Movie car who is unsalvageable. Total was 10$CAN for that lot. It was in a bag and hard to see what was missing. Oh well.
Then, one of my want list, CW deluxe Breakdown, missing HFG and gun. For 5$CAN, it was a given. Now I only need two more CW limbs for cheap to make my last CW custom.
Anyone?
Then, Breakdown again. But this time, the ROTF version. Perfect and only 5$CAN too. Nice one!
RTS Scout Chopsaw for 5$CAN. Brimstone is an incredible toy so I had to take his brother.
A G1 minibot Warpath. Unbroken but is is crusted with some nasty gunk. I'll have to clean it. 2$CAN was acceptable.
Spy Changer Mirage, no gun for 2$CAN.
---Even if I already have it, RID Ro-Tor, missing the tiny gun. It was part of a incredible deal with...
Spy Changer Crosswise, clear, WITH his red gun...
And Spy Changer Hotshot, no gun...
And Spy Changer R.E.V WITH his yellow gun...
AND Spy Changer W.A.R.S without gun.
That WHOLE lot for 3$CAN total! MADNESS!
To end this haul, two non TF things. The Hatsune Miku manga volume at 20$CAN. Not a deal, but I wanted it.
And finally, a HUGE crate of orange for just 20$CAN! Usually, oranges go for 1$ each at the local supermarket.
Oh yeah, also a tiny black gun that I have no idea where it come from.
Overall, a very, very nice haul. My favorite parts being the Spy Changers. Sure, they ALL transform the exact same way, but the bots are cute and the vehicles are INCREDIBLY WELL painted. LOVE 'EM!

Lawls aside
According to my local buddies it seems like Brawn/Roadburn are in every Walmart in Edmonton, and I had cabin fever so I figured I'd check the one nearest to me. They had one of each, and I nabbed them. Now to cancel my BBTS ones
