Yeah... Poor thread barely get updated.

Also, it's pay day today and I have a box full of unwanted Transformers to unload on my local guy. Tomorrow gonna be awesome!

I finally picked up a TR Blurr. Very good figure. I also got a TFA Sunstorm/Ratchet 2-pack on eBay. I like the TFA seeker mold but for some reason I'm not impressed. I might resell it, it's still MISB.

Finally found a TR Megatron at a Target. I'd really intended to get Voyager OP and then the Blitzwing deco of this mold, but the chances I'm ever going to find those is nill.



Megatron was surrounded by a trio of Alpha Trions , and that was it for voys.

While in the area I also checked Ollies (jack squat for TF, no hope of ever seeing Fort Max ), TRU (only TR was a lonely Scourge, which BTW did they reissue the first few waves? those guys were everywhere!)

2nd Charles had a lot of the earlier deluxes at terrible price, $21. Get bent Charles.

Walmart had a bunch of deluxes (I only specifically remember wave 1, plus that white Chromedome redeco) and TMs. Nothing Legends, Voy, or Leader.

Everywhere but 2nd Charles (and Ollies, which had nothing at all) had a lot of movie and RID. I guess we know where TR ranks among the line. Smack dab last.

yea a wave of Blurr, Scourge, Highbrow and Chromedome was distributed recently. was rather disappointing to see. was hoping to see wave 4

So I went again at that new local geek store.
I gave the store this lot in trade: (all are 100% complete)

-- Commemorative G1 Seacons (30$US at BBTS at the time)
-- RiD Ruination (I found out I don't like G1 "Scramble City" combiners)
-- G1 Inferno and Grapple (even with the papers. However, those may have been KOs. I was never sure)
-- Alternators Optimus Prime (ugh....)
-- G2 Starscream (have the G1 so no need)
-- Henkei (?) clear ghost deluxe Starscream (may have been a KO because too cheap to be true at the time)
-- Animated Blitzwing (never liked him)
-- RiD Dark Energon Bumblebee, Voyager Optimus & Megatron, Cliffjumper (No need because 1st Edition. Also, yes, Deluxe Megatron is better)
-- Generations Skids and Blurr plus Universe Megatron (I prefer the gray repaint of Skids, Drift, and Henkei Megatron)

Sure, this may sound like a lot that I give but a store still have to make a profit. Also, for what I got, I would have had to pay MORE from my own pocket if I went through Ebay. Not counting all the trouble.

So, what DID I got?

What else, MORE G1 PRETENDERS!



Vroom, Octopunch, Bumblebee, Roadblock and Carnivac!
ALL 100% COMPLETE AND IN PRISTINE CONDITION!

Thanks guys! I have some more stuff in storage that I could unload to that store but it's now only the low value things that remain. So we'll see!
Because DAMN, collecting G1 is expensive.

But seriously, I'm really lucky that he don't like pretenders because he labelled them ALL at 80$CAN. NO MATTER WHICH ONE! So I seized the opportunity to get the BEST ones.

Aw yeah, he looks every bit as good as the official images in person! Taking the picture with Toxitron and Laser Prime just because all trucks should come with swords. I've heard people say the Knight Ginrai figure suffers from mold degradation, but I can say for sure that Magna Convoy's joints are all nice and tight like a brand new mold was used.

Just a great figure. Super happy with him!

That store owner bought a collection from some guy for cheap so he could start his business.
He had ALL of G1 in store! And he still have most of them! ALL the headmasters, micromasters, action masters, all the other pretenders, Scorponock, Trypticon, Omega Supreme, G1 GALORE!

Seeing all of these treasures at once and knowing they are relatively affordable is just amazing.
