I have the Unite Warriors Bruticus box, but I like this Onslaught better (except for the black Bruticus head). And it was dirt cheap at Kapow, so I got one.

PCCs are adorable. I have Sledge, Steamhammer and Smolder and I love them all. The combined modes suck, but they're otherwise just really fun little Scout class figures with creative transformations and some interesting designs.

Got the Amazon Optimus Prime Evolution 2-pack in the other day. I'm glad Amazon ended up getting more in, I really didn't want to have to pay twice the price somewhere else. This is probably the only time I'll get this particular body mold since I'm getting the Japanese Kup.

And today this guy came in:

Gekisoumaru Kurojishi ver. Only ¥2,000 (about $18) on Mandarake. Been after this for a while, but the shipping on Manda is pretty high on these GO! figures so I waited for the right time. I only had a small item I was getting from them so I was able to slip that in with Geki without raising the price much at all. Box is a bit rougher than I was expecting, every corner is rough like it was in a rock tumbler. Tape is still sealed and that's what matters most.

That is always what stopped me from getting these. They arent expensive themselves but because they are small toys packaged in such large boxes, I never feel I am getting my money's worth when I tally how much the figures comes out shipped. I also havent heard good things about these toys and might probably never get them.

That Unicron I got the other day is too bloody big to fit in the shelves even without the wings he's missing. Even Primus managed to fold down his backpack/shoulder cannons a bit and fit in but Unicron's standing there on the floor making the place look a total mess. Total evil.

(Dammit I thought I'd managed to squeeze the rest of my collection in those two shelves but just noticed it's missing 30th Springer, KO MP Hot Rod, Oversized Gen Arcee, KO downsized CW Megatron and a couple other random figures. DISPLAYING COLLECTIONS WITH LIMITED SHELF SPACE IS HARD!

Yeah, and it's even worse for these team leaders. They're no bigger than the other team figures, but include electronics so they gave them even bigger boxes to reflect that.

I really only buy these for their convoluted combined modes, especially the two you get from Optimus ExPrime. I like my puzzle transformations, but these combiners really require the instructions to do right. Each figure has five configurations (seven when you add the two for Optimus) between bot and alt mode and each of the combiner positions making them a bigger chore to play with than any other Transformer ever made.

Hm, you could try fix that with some very careful supergluing though.

At least (I assume) A3U's got my back on Prime. And I tried some glue on Starscream. It either requires more finesse than I have or its not possible.

Ok the thrift store was real good to me today, I got all this for $1.99. It really helps I found that Broadside because one of the clear plastic tail fins on mine had broke.

And That means I get a twintwist in 2 hauls in a row.

Oh well, I'm sure they'll turn up eventually, I'm really only after the Jumpstarters, Windblade, Krok, and Quake, the rest I'm getting from Takara Tomy for their Targetmasters (and Ramhorn).

I haven't see anything from Wave 4 on shelves and pegs here (I say here, I mean in Cambridge, my nearest area that actually sells toys) at all. Tons and tons of Hot Rods, Triggerhappys, Twinfernos, Breakaways, Highbrows, Wolfwires. Ok so I quit Titans anyways but it would be nice to see some new product in the stores here.

Yeah there feels like there's far more Wave 3 figures made than people who will ever want Wave 3 figures.

Nope, saying I cant believe there was so little time between it being found in stores and it winding up in a thrift shop.

I already had one which broke (clear plastic tail fin piece snapped right off) and I had kept the box and receipt. So I went back to walmart with the broken toy and the box and got my money back.
