Picked up my cheap Walmart Hot Rod as seen in the news. Couldn't resist the price and being able to just pick it up at the store while I was already out made it an easy buy. Would have chosen a box in better condition, but at least they didn't stick a big sticker right on the box like they often do with Pickup items.

Well, actually, we kinda care.
It doesn't have anything to do with the politics of official or unofficial. It has to do with keeping all threads on topic.
The Energon Pub is a big place, and there is a lot to talk about. By posting things in the appropriate thread, it allows for deeper conversations to occur on any specific topic.

By posting this in the KO/3P thread, one is more likely to attract the right audience to discuss these toys.
Both your Negatron, and the Not Devasator you posted before, are fine hauls. Why not share them with those who are also interested in this avenue of collecting?

The Entertainer selling TLK Voyager Hound for £13.19 and I've not had a movie Hound before and since there's not yet a sign of a Studio Series figure of him I bought it and I like it. Paired him up with SS Ironhide.

Really liking the figure. May buy the Dr Wu kit to add his gatling gun (which turns into the back part of the vehicle) and more accurate feet (these flat ones don't do it for me) and the Toyhax stickers.
Also this reminds me of that scene from the gun episode of the Simpsons where Moe attaches a bunch of guns together.

Went to TrU for the 15$CAN TLK deluxes and the "buy one toy at regular price, get the other regular of >= value at 50% off" promo. I spent at least one hour to try and chose what I would get. There was absolutely nothing that stroke my fancy so I came out with nothing. At least I could help 4 or 6 families to pick the right transformers for their 4-5 year old kids. All of tem opted for the 15$ TLK deluxes on clearance but I pointed them all out to the big Bee Movie toys or the 3 steps toys instead. All were thankful for my advice and chose the right thing. The sale for regular priced toys helped too. At least my trip to TrU contributed to the fandom in the long run.

For once I didn't came back empty handed. Got the reissue of G1 Swerve at Walmart! Surprize restock! He's a pretty cool guy. At first I thought the sideway rub sign on the roof of the truck was a mistake but Google have shown me that it was legit. The clamshell barely held on to the card so I got an almost perfectly clean cardback. The poor minibot could easily be shoplifted when one think about it.

Scored a Cyberverse Warrior Windblade off Target.com for only $8.99 with free shipping. There was only 3 left at the time so it wasn't really worth passing along since I didn't even know if mine was going to ship. However, Amazon has her for $8.91 right now with 6 left. Not sure why the second most prominent character with the most dialogue in the cartoon is being cleared out so readily by stores.

Even though I swore I wouldn’t dare to dip my toes into Movie MPs, I wasn’t about to pass up MPM Barricade for a scant $45 and change. He’s really awesome, and a big improvement on HA Barricade. Even though I recently got HA Barry, and do really enjoy him, his MPM incarnation really overshadows him.

I’m super happy that he’s such a cool figure, but I’m afraid because I know it’s already too late. The MPM flood gates have been opened, and there’s no stopping it now. Time to track down some decent deals on the few previous figures, if I can. I’ll try to find a ‘Bee, so they can duke it out. I might try for an OP, even though I haven’t heard the best word of mouth on him. I just like that he’s not as squat at RotF OP. Still not sure about Ironhide. He always looks so cool, but to my recollection he’s never had a well balanced and posable figure. Especially with his big honkin’ shoulders.

Urgh… Good luck completing your combiners. Just forget Ebay because those CW deluxes are stupidly priced. At that point, better order the United Warrior sets from Japan. Still, those deluxes can be found at flea markets and the like. It is possible but it will take some serious hunting.

I've actually been doing relatively well with eBay, I think. I'm only buying them at most at 10 dollars above retail price, I actually got some at retail price, and I've managed to get a hold of a few I couldn't find at a good price anywhere else that actually ships to the US (especially counting the 3 more CW limbs that aren't here yet). It helps that eBay keeps doing coupon deals because holidays and all that.

...that being said, I'm absolutely going to need that luck to get my hands on a Rook and my ideal Computron, so...
