How much was that Soundwave and Barricade 2-pack? And where?
I already have those but for the ones who don't, it may be the time to pounce.

All from BBTS
Barricade and Soundwave $103.99
https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/71346
I’ve wanted HA Barricade and Soundwave both for a long while now, but individually they’re too expensive. And even at $150 for the two-pack it felt too high. $103.99 I was okay with. Now HA Jazz has company.
The Henkei set is $94.99. It isn’t on any of the sale pages, but it is discounted. It says the packaging is “substandard,” but I’m not sure what that means, because my box is perfect.
Speaking of which, the packaging on all of these sets is gorgeous. I love the display windows.

Yes, thats the general concensus. Its like there is technically more to do with this guy than the other 2 leaders but that lack of focus for a particular mode makes all the rest suffer. Plus its the least integrated evolution of them all (in both modes). At least the main big robot mode has nice proportions.

I have something! Power Charge Bumblebee from the Bumblebee Movie!

Got it on sale from TrU. Had to order it online for reasons, but at least it was free shipping. So how is that new lights and sound Bee?
Simply AMAZING!
The robot mode, despite lacking some paint as usual, is stunning. The articulations are good enough. The lights and sounds are totally random and noisy, but still fun. The transformation is fairly complex too. Especially how those legs work. Still, a very satisfying transformation and I didn't needed the instructions. Plus no faux parts at all and everything tab securely without issues.

The car mode is perfect and have the paint right where it need to be. Mine have a stiff front right wheel so it dosent roll well. Not a dealbreaker however. This is one MASSIVE bug!

Overall, it's a great addition to the Hive and it go very well with the other "leader" Bees. It's been a while since I had a transformers that genuinely impressed and satisfied me. I honestly wouldn't had minded paying 23$ more if it was full price.
If you don't mind scale and want something awesome, pick this guy up NOW! Especially if you are Canadian and you shop at Toys R Us.

Within this weekend, I have now completed PotP and am only 1 figure away from completing this year's Studio Series lineup! Also got a figure I cancelled a pre-order to back way earlier this year for half the price I was about to pay for it. Pretty stoked, will hopefully be sharing Tuesday.

If you haven't noticed me posting much this past weekend it's because I've been at an anime convention (AniMaine in South Portland) since Friday. I didn't buy anying Transformers related at the con itself, but I do have a haul from my trip.
In my hunt for PotP Wreck-gar the first stop where I got my clones and Brainstorm (the latter never showed up at my local Walgreens) I struck out, only two Sinnertwins there. After making a wrong turn trying to find Trader Joe's (it's the only one in the state and near where I was so I wanted to check it out) I found a second Walgreens that had two Wreck-Gars and two Swoops so that's my final PotP Deluxe covered.
Then I checked out Five Below to see if they had any Transformers stuff my local store didn't, and they did! Got TLK Legion Dragonstorm for $3 (what an amazing figure!) and two Alt Modes for $1 each (finally got my Prime!).
That book is semi-Transformers related. You see Jeff Kline, the guy behind Transformers Prime, RID, and some of Rescue Bots, was one of the guests since he's somewhat local. The comic is a product of his company, Darby Pop Publishing, named for his daughter (the name should also sound familiar to Prime fans), which he recommended to me when he saw I'm a Transformers fan (I had an Autobot logo T-shirt on). He's a super nice guy and I look forward to reading the comic.
Coming back i decided to pick up a Cyberverse Ultra Grimlock from Best Buy for $15 thanks to a $5 promotional gift card knocking down the price. He isn't bad if you know what you're getting into, he's just different. If you're fine with a good looking brick in bot mode and a good looking gimmick-laden brick in dino mode it's a good figure. I really like the transformation, I'd like to see a more complex version of it used on a more advance figure.
It was a good weekend!

Re: Transformers Toy haul thread
I found a "The Last Knight" Barricade at Ross yesterday and figured I would treat myself, 'cause it was only 8 bucks.
I'm in love with this little guy. I love his four bug eyes, and he's got "serve" and "protect" brass knuckles. And then he's got a machine-gun bracelet, and a pistol, and a nightstick. On top of all that, you can take his roof off to make a riot shield, although that isn't an official feature.
It's kind of a pity this is just an update of Barricade and not a new character. I would have loved a "Judge Dread" type of figure in the 'cons.

Isn't Nemesis Prime amazing? Owning him I really want to get Calibur Optimus Prime, too. I don't care if he's basically a partsformer with a massive chunk of him forming the shield, it does so much for his bot mode aesthetic compared to other version of AoE/TLK Optimus Prime with the massive backpacks. And he really looks good with MB TLK Leader Megatron.

He is, this is such a huge improvement over my AoE Leader Prime. i don't mind the shield, and it's awesome that his axe and shield are designed to work with the RotF/DotM leader figure too. This is fantastic, and we really needed this for a Hasbro leader figure. Plus I got him for half of he original pre-order price, so I feel really lucky since I cancelled that pre-order initially.
the axe is a great addition, as it is a favorite weapon of mine. and ugh, that paint work! The head is perfection.

That’s an awesome score, D-Max, especially since you got it on sale. I have Calibur Prime, but I’d really like to pick up Nemesis. It’s such a great figure, between all of the awesome weapons, and not being hindered by that bulky backpack. Takara really made some massive improvements to that toy.
Small haul.
If Randy wasn’t already busted, he either broke in transit, or as soon as I took him out of his plastic backing, and transformed him into bot mode. I got him used, so I have no idea. In any event his boar head was snapped at the anchor points, and the holes where his arms peg in in Beast Mode are mostly shattered. I fixed the head with two part epoxy, so he’s not flopping around.
Had no idea he was gold plastic. Should have done my research. He’s still great, even if I won’t ever be transforming him.

Oh, wow. Remind me not to to move Randy around too much. So maybe “great” is a little hyperbolic on my part. At least he’s more balanced than some other Basics, so he’s not likely to fall over just by looking at him wrong. It’s still a well designed mold, with a good color scheme.

They’re wonderful. I had stopped buying blind box figures a long time ago, but these little guys are too tempting to pass up. I’m really looking forward to getting Vile, X, and especially Cutman. I hope they keep churning these little guys out.
The armor is very cool, its just not a must-have for me. If I ever see them discounted, I’ll jump on them though.
Yeah. This one was chase variant. He’s a secret figure, that isn’t listed on the box.

The first wave was labeled (except red), but in the US the second wave is blind boxed. I got lucky and got my #1 & 2 figures in my first try. Not sure if I wanna roll the dice to try and get X with the extra fist.Bucky wrote:They’re wonderful. I havent received him yet but last thursday i used a special shopping order service that my local comic store provides. Essentially they can make a order and they have clients that can provide hard to get stuff like manga and such for no extra charge.
I placed a order for Bludgeon and last thursday they confirmed that a Prime Master Bludgeon is on its way but its gonna be a month or 5 weeks.
Otherwise stores wont get him wont show up until spring.
