Just bought minicon Sawback (Blue Dog from RID 2015) for dirt cheap, Toys'R'us is closing and being bought out.
He's really cute though...whos a good cyber-doggie ?

I dont give a crap about the deployer abominations but is the side clip on buzzsaw toys like him compatible with any thing else on unusual figures?

I'm surprised he's still in one piece (minus weapon). The blue plastic is pretty fragile and the parts on top of his bot and beast heads tend to get lost.

My Combat Megatron came on Friday. It was supposed to be here Thursday, I'm guessing it was delayed by the weather, but they didn't give a reason, typical FedEx.

On my way to my girlfriends for the weekend, I stopped at Walmart to pick up stuff to make a homemade BBQ chicken pizza. And while I was there, I saw Siege Shockwave at last! But, something inside me wasn't committed to him at that point, and I passed on him.

Stopped back at that walmart this evening on my way home, decided I needed to get him. Went back, and not only was he there, but so was a freshly unpacked SS Megatron and Jetfire! Seems like some sort of higher power was asking me to wait for those 2 to hit the shelf.

so for the first time ever, I bought 3 Leader figures at once. The 2 SS ones rung up at $44.97 though, so a bit of a break. Hopefully that is the only time I ever even have to think about 3 leaders at once.

Just picked up Tricerashot, gives me nostalgia for Blue Ranger Zord from Mighty Morphing Power Rangers (from the same Toys'R'Us in Iceland which is taking forever selling their stock)

The Minicon discount value is 600 ISKR or roughly 5 bucks.

The ones available are

Sawback (He was the last one the week before)
Tricerashot
Sliptream (lightblue cannon weaponizer
Divebomb (has G1 optimus weapon in lime green)

As for Doomitron Bashbreaker and Dragonus i dont plan on getting them.

I know I'm in the vast minority here, but.......

I don't get it. I really don't understand why so many love this very lackluster toy.

It fulfills my three rules for a perfect transformer:

- A nice looking robot mode with a mix of new detail and alt mode integration with not too much extraneous kibble
- A nice and distinct looking alt mode with minimal obvious robot mode kibble
- A fun and involved transformation from one mode to the next

That toy has this in spades. Both modes look distinct and lean with little extranous kibble yet having their own specific detail unique to each mode. And yet we still have nice alt mode integration.

Plus there are 2 easter eggs, like a matrix chamber in truck mode and a flip out 5 mm hole in the back.
Don't forget just how posable this figure is. It has playability pouring out of it. It's my go to bot while chilling on the couch with the Mrs watching movies. Easily my figure of the year as well!

Mayhap it really is as simple as that. See, playability doesn't factor into how I enjoy a transformer. To me, all toys have immense playability. The only thing that can limit that, again, for me, is imagination. I only see Siege Prime as a very bland toy. It has a fairly interesting transformation, but the back pack, the battle damage, and the dull colors in general just kill it for me. The one I bought, I didn't even keep for my Prime shelf, just gave it to my boys, and they broke it two days later. In fact, all of the siege figures I gave to them have broken, or lost parts, and they honestly aren't that rough on toys.

I ordered the Siege Optimus accessory parts from Deep Space Arsenal, and they came out really cool! Currently using the Energon Axe, Blaster, Jetpack and fuel barrels. Haven't added the replacement smokestacks since the shoulder plastic is a slightly different red

Check it eh, my first international haul from Canada. A big shout out to Kanrabat for the tip on where to find the promise land.

I could get in a lot of trouble there... A LOT! Just grabbed a few small things that were priced right that I've been wanting. A keen eye will spot one figure that never made to the states. My thanks again Kanrabat ;)^

Made a stop at Target and found some new stuff! I have no clue what’s going on with wave distribution anymore since this wave isn’t on preorder anywhere I can see so I figured I’d take my lucky opportunity and get them all. I’m attempting to get 2 of each Devy component so I can display him complete next to his individual robots so that’s why I bought 2 Scrapmetal. 2 down, 6 to go!
