Nice, D-Max! How do you like MPM-6? I’m on the fence and trying to pick a side.

I've yet to transform him. Been fiddling with the robot mode, trying some things out to get him looking his best.

And Densh, I actually have his arm kibble mistransformed. I don't like it hanging out below with the cannons in the wrong spot. They are pulled up and over the sides like they would be for truck mode. Helps bulk him up and put his cannons on the outside instead of underside of the arms

On the shelf, I left dirty '70s Bee, Crankcase, and two WWII Bees.


Gotta say, WWII Bee looks much, much better in person. Still not good enough to pay full price, but not bad.

Received a TR Trypticon this weekend as a late birthday present. Best thing that's happened to me in a long time, I honestly have no words. Hips and chest door seem okay, though I'm not sure how exactly to tell with the hips. This thing is GREAT. (Except for the stickers, of course. Grrr. Made worse by the fact that my hands kinda shake, which makes puting on dozens and dozens of tiny stickers an even more daunting prospect than it would be for most people.)

I like it a lot, but I'm not gonna go on about it because I'm pretty sure anything I could say has already been said by now.

Funny thing is they could put pretty much anything that resembles a Transformer in the box, it doesn't have to be the same character from another line, it's not like the store employees know anything about these.

No no no, that's not what I meant at all! Sorry!

What I meant was it is a rare thing to see, but it has been far more common in the first wave in this line than I have ever seen it. The amount of either swapped figures or figures returned minus accessories and even a leg (!!!) so far have been crazy in a very bad way.

Found a Bee Movie Speed Series Barricade at Walmart this morning for $1, couldn't pass on that.

Had another fortunate Target run. Last time I found Magnus and Shockwave. Even though I do enjoy Shockwave a lot, Magnus is a massive cut above. He’s easily one of the most fun figures I’ve purchased in a long time. Where I felt like the Evolution gimmick in PotP was wildly underwhelming, the armor upgrade gimmicks in Siege is a massive success in my book.

On this run, I found Sideswipe, Cog, and Skytread. And all I can say is...ankle tilts.

This line is all aces so far. I can’t wait to find Hound, Megatron, and OP now.

They aren’t without their flaws. Skytread is pretty cool, but his separate alts are underwhelming in the way that I thought Overlord’s were. Even though Overlord was one of my favorite figures from TR. His bot mode is just outstanding. Skytread is great in that fun and clunky sort of way. I just wish there was more clearance for his hips to swivel. Also his arms are very simple, and leave a little to be desired. I’m patiently waiting for the day when Has/Tak includes folding hands, that can also swivel.

Cog is amazing. I’m in love with his design, and the sculpting on him is superb. I think I’m going to pick up another. The first thing I noticed was his knees, because it has what looks like a large hydraulic piston molded into it. There’s even a lot of attention to detail on his thigh joints.

Sideswipe is the real winner. He looks awesome. Fun transformation. Highly posable. The only draw back is, again, the very simple arms. All the same, I’d definitely buy this mold again if/when there’s a redeco or two.

When you mean "nearly complete" is the missing part something minor like the landing gear or a fist (easily swapable from other seekers) or something major like a wing?
