I think he is referring strictly to the transformation which is indeed rather simple.

She's a bit of a downer, but has some nice things going on and a great face sculpt. I still prefer the Gen figure overall.

Yup, that's exactly what I was referring to. Don't get me wrong it's a nice looking figure, but for a deluxe that transformation was jumpstarterish. <--making up words here :MAXIMAL:

So I got 2 missing Animated pieces that I just realized I was missing a few weeks ago. Freeway Jazz and Atomic Lugnut. A little pricier than I expected, but now my Animated collection feels complete. :MAXIMAL:

I wasn't that much into transformers when he came out. So I completely missed out. I nope'd when he was 60$. Now he's double that at the very minimum. And that's only when he's available to begin with.

I really love this figure, it's such a different style from the usual dark Optimus repaints. Going whole hog with the fire theme outside of having some flames in truck mode works well for this figure.

Here's my haul!

I wasn't lucky enough to get one on Hasbro Toy Shop after SDCC and the prices really rocketed up to more than I really wanted to pay so I thought I'd always be missing this guy. Fast forward a few years and I notice a few weeks ago that TFSource has him up for pre-order for $110. Price seemed good, though still well above the original $50 price at SDCC, and I almost jumped on it when I decided to check BBTS as well. They had him already in stock for the same price. That gives me the idea to check eBay since there's clearly more out there than previously thought.

That's when I find this listing from Poland for only $63.90! And shipping was only $17.90 coming to a total of $81.80! Just an unbelievable price for an SDCC exclusive on the aftermarket. If you happen to be in the market for one and want to save $30+ then I say this seller is dependable. The box was in a plastic slip cover bag and well packed for shipping. The back is slightly damaged, where it looked like something had been pushed against it, but that was probably on Hasbro's end. Just super happy with this overall! It actually arrived Saturday, I just haven't had time to say anything.

Oh, also picked up a Cyberverse Warrior Shockwave since the price dropped again at Walmart to $11-something (Rollback, not clearance).

With so many Siege and Selects figures coming out in October, it will be interesting to see who arrives first (okay, well second, as Siege Barricade arrived on Sunday).

I'm expecting the following:

My guess is that Hasbro had a portion of the run shipped in time to have some on hand at SDCC and sold the rest immediately on Pulse. Then all the remaining retailers had to wait from the main portion of the run to ship much slower

Did you get shipping/tracking info from Walmart, or did it just show up? My wife lost our credit card that I used to pre-order in August and we had to cancel the card. Because I didn't register, and bought as a guest, Walmart's customer service staff couldn't change my card info, and I had to wait for an email when they went to charge my now cancelled card, so I could enter in the new number. I did that over the weekend, but have not heard anything back yet. If I check my status, both cards show up, so I'm hoping that won't cause any problems. Really hoping this didn't screw me out of getting Bluestreak.

If y'all didn't already know, Bluestreak is my all time most favorite Transformer ever. So.... needless to say, I'm excited.
This deco on this mold puts Prowl to shame. Sorry Top Cop, there's a new sheriff in town!

After taking part in the last Twincast Classics retrospective I realized there was a mold out there I never owned. Universe-Classics 2.0 Ultra Class Onslaught. MAN! He is a big beefy bad boi, and I like it! Takes me back to a simpler time.

Personally, I won't double-dip on the Sixgun mold, having him already for my Metroplex. But for one who don't have a Metroplex but still want the mold, that Select version really have the superior deco and head sculpt.
