Come in from where?

Excited for Skullsmasher. Great looking gator and my first Titans Return figure (other than Trypticon).
I'm curious as to why Doubledealer is such a big deal and highly sought after. He doesn't have a major appearance in any media, just some stints in the old and newer comics. Does his double Powermaster gimmick make him a hot piece? Is that enough of a unique feature to make him so wanted? I never got the fascination with this guy. To me, his vehicle mode is the lone appealing mode, the other modes look half-assed. So I'm totally missing it on this figure.-Kanrabat- wrote:Bucky wrote:Huh. So jelly!
One of the few Transformers I wouldn't mind paying full price in store.

1. Some people think the humanoid and eagle robot modes are cool. Yeah, there's some Triple Changer Syndrome going on, but it's still interesting. It's kinda a more extreme version of Punch/Counterpunch, having the different robot modes be very different. With the original toy, the double Powermaster gimmick is appealing. The Earthrise version loses that gimmick (as a functional one), but brings better articulation and somewhat enhanced sculpting to the table (and also isn't just a Blitzwing redeco like the last Generations version).Rodimus Prime wrote:I'm curious as to why Doubledealer is such a big deal and highly sought after. Seconded on tightening Skullcruncher's hips. You might have to tighten his fists, too.-Kanrabat- wrote:Starseeker wrote:With the arrival of Caliburst, he completes my Decepticon battle masters from Siege!

Skullsmasher is very nice. But beware of loose hips in bot mode. Those may need the Pledge Floor Finish treatment.

...I don't suppose you'd be willing to temporarily wrap Screamer's head in Play-Dough or similar, then pull it off and let it dry?
