Well these are definitely in New England now. Picked up Soundwave since I still have an active order for Prime through Walmart.com. Still no Deluxes yet.
Also just got in my Cyber Monday order from Gamestop. Funko Pop Optimus Prime and Megatron and My Little Prime. I think the Pops were on sale for around $8 each while the Pony was a full $13. Also threw in a clearanced MHA All Might figure for free shipping. Would have passed on the sale to the forum, but I passed out after ordering and forgot all about it until the next day...

I just received this:
Kinda funny to think I may have these two before Elita-1 and the Ratchet and Lifeline two pack that I pre-ordered before these two.

That Swoop is a pretty awesome find!
The megazord was my real good find. The battle convoy is missing multiple pieces.

I would have grabbed that prime in a heartbeat! Maybe try getting the Nova Prime upgrade kit for him? That is what I would do

I think I used up all my luck with that find to be fair
I think Dino Charge had a fun set of Megazords during its run.

It was my birthday yesterday, and while not a single one of you peons remembered it, I won't hold it against you and won't ban anyone.
But I got stuff and I finished making stuff.
The stuff I got - Geoff Senior signed print, reproducing what I consider to be the single most iconic page from Marvel UK's Transformers run (issue #86)
What I finished making - I built this. It took many months. I **** hate the piece of ****.
I'll be honest, I have next to zero wood working skills. I did wood working in Grade 8.
I swear it's not straight, it doesn't even look straight, but it's straight. Something went wrong at virtually every stage of the build. And yes, it does have my blood on it somewhere.
It was built to fill the last gap in my Transformers room, now I just have to fill it with stuff, which may take a few months too because I honestly am over the thing. I did learn a few things though, mostly that I shouldn't build ****.

Well, happy belated birthday!
You must forgive us, we only celebrate Ratbat's birthday around here.
As for the print, that's pretty cool. And you are correct, any time the Marvel UK series comes up, that's exactly the shot I think of. (Are those pieces of Magnus falling off?) Then I immediately grunt because it makes me think of Regeneration 1 and Furman's sad attempt at alter history by having another fight between them with a different result.
And the display case is also a neat piece, something I also wouldn't have the patience for. Hopefully knowing how much blood sweat and tears you put into it makes you appreciate it more, even if you hate it.
Looks good, though.

The prints not a toy, some one give Burn a warning XD -that it is an incredibly cool print.
As for the cabinet, definitely worth the blood loss over not having to got into an ikea or paying ikeas price for something like that.

I got these delivered last night! I've wanted this Shatter since last year this time when I saw her in Toys R' Us, but decided against getting her so I could buy more presents. But I got her now. I've always wanted a version of Stepper/Ricochet, but he was always so stupidly expensive. Thankfully this one was retail price, and unlike the rest of the universe, I don't hate this Jazz design! Also getting at least one Slitherfang was a requirement for me.

Nice haul Fires! I also like that Jazz mold, so you aren't alone. I have both and like the Stepper deco better. Slitherfang is my favorite of the 3 shield/ramp modes. As for Shatter, she is such a missed opportunity, with the QC issues she lives up to her name. If it weren't for the shoulders and the fenders disagreeing with the idea that they should remain attached to the body, this would be a really solid mold. As it is, I do like it, great car mode, and the transformation would be fun if not for the QC issues.
I did just transform her from bot to car last weekend without either arm or fender popping off. First time I managed that. Total pucker factor once I got to the last few steps, like I was trying to diffuse a bomb or something.

Congrats Fires! And yeah, add me to the "like that jazz mold" club. I have 0 issues with that toy and I like it enough that I see no use in getting the SS86 one. Plus, the car mode is better on this one (in the back
Slitherfang is my favorite of the 3 shield/ramp modes.
Same here. I feel he's the only one who works well as both a transformers toy and the ramp idea they were going with. The rest just feel like robots with ramps on their backs. Another solid snake TF toy!

Wow, so not only does it look terrible but the process from getting from one mode to the other is bad too. That toy is such a failure. I never got it since I couldn't get past how it didn't look like the on screen model and it seemed just too full of kibble. At least the kibble on the Jet version tries to be screen accurate. And that pre final face... oof.

That might be where I get a benefit from not caring about the movies. I haven't seen the Bee movie, so I really don't have any hang-ups on how she was supposed to look, and really just judge most of the SS line based on whether it looks good to me and whether the mold is any fun to handle. So for me, I like the look of both modes, especially the car, and the bottom half of the transformation is actually pretty fun, it is just the 2 arms and fenders that ruin things.

It's a good film, the best live action TF movie we ever got, and a fun callback to the family films from the 80s. I'd recommend giving it a watch when you have a moment.

Oh, it is definitely on the list to watch someday, I'm just not big on movies of any kind really. I think I've only been inside a theater twice in the past decade.

That's a matter of opinion, and one I disagree with. It was fairly good when it was about Bee and interacting with the other Cybertronians, but the parts with Charlie were a total drag. It's a wash at best, and on my list it's only higher than TLK and RoTF.william-james88 wrote:TF-fan kev777 wrote:william-james88 wrote:Wow, so not only does it look terrible but the process from getting from one mode to the other is bad too. I was shocked to see that big box on my porch today. At first I thought it was a snow shovel I ordered on eBay.
Also my Super Megatron showed up yesterday in a more manageable box.
Oh, and my Dagwon Super Mini-Pla arrived today from AmiAmi. Not a Transformer, more like a cousin.

Gotta love working from home when you're getting a package a month earlier than expected.
Breakdown and Jet Vehicon (Frank) are the new boys and make my collection of Decepticons from the Prime show 99% complete. I'll eventually "Breakdown"
and buy a Shockwave sometime, but for now I'm happy with the crew. Especially as the week I ordered the two pack I was seriously considering a Silas Breakdown from Mandarake.
